Really makes difference. Upgraded from linear to clover leaf and the result is huge. Didn't really had time to test the antennas in the field due to weather conditions but did test them at home behind few walls and the range plus video quality are two to three times better.

Crappy build fell right apart after landing. Probably came down at 2 kph weak solder joints

They seem to work really good for my application.

I was expecting them to come in a nice box as in the product images, but instead they came in a beat up yellow paper mail bag, also the antennas look like terrible quality and they came bent, DO NOT BUY, I was recommended these from a YouTube vid I watched and now I’m extremely disappointed

Just got the set haven't tried them because my TX/ RX is still enroute. I read some of the reviews and was a little worried about the quality but for $10 it was worth the risk. I was concerned for nothing. The solder connections are solid and its a strong antenna. The elements themselves are straight and uniform where they need to be and the curvature and spacing is precisely done. Great attention to detail! I wont be using them on a drone. My application is for a long range target camera video system and in this regard they will be operating much lower than they would on a drone. Still, a good system starts with good equipment and for UHF RF gear the antenna is the most important part. I'll update this review when I have more to add. The box didnt have any instructions so I deducted one star. The 3 blade antenna is the transmit antenna and the 4 blade the receive according to the details on Amazon. To anyone concerned about build quality of these antenna's,dont be. Buy with confidence.Update 5/27/2016 - used them with an AnEagle 5.8GHz 600mw and got good, solid video out to 918 yards. The transmitter was set at 5 feet above ground level and I was just holding the receiver in my hand and started walking away across a plowed field. Distance was measure with a laser range finder. If the TX was flying high on a drone, I would expect 2KM range easily. I'm changing my rating to 5 stars. These antenna's are top notch.

This item arrived on time and is working great for my scratch build quadcopter FPV setup. Not a bad price and it works great! It has survived a couple of crashes and seems to be doing well and have good range.*update* Still loving it. Ordered additional Anbee's for additional quadcopters. I have been very pleased with the way this antenna has held up to my numerous crashes while flying my quadcopter. Highly suggest this device !

Signal was adequate, but I got the best signal using this clover on my drone and a panel antennae on my RX. (hence 4 stars) The mixed combo gave me a better signal and range - even though the panel antennae is directionally biased and my panel antennae had to be kept facing the drone. At the very least they were much better than the whip antennae that came with my kit.Theirs a ton of confusion in the reviews about weather these are male or female...RP-SMA means "Reversed Polarity - SubMiniature version A"That "REVERSED POLARITY" part means THEY APPEAR GENDER SWAPPED! The female connections have a little pin inside the connector that pokes out of the middle and the male connectors have a little hole that receives the female pokie-outty female pin. Wacky huh? These antennae appear female (the connectors have a little hole inside that receives the mating pin) but because they are "Reversed Polarity" THEY ARE TECHNICALLY AND CORRECTLY LABELED AS MALE (due to being Reversed Polarity)!I know it's confusing, but do a google image search for "RP-SMA" and hopefully you'll join the ranks of the educated few and order the correct antennae on the first try. At the very least - please stop complaining that they sent you the wrong antennae simply because you ignorantly ordered the gender of connector you thought you needed instead of the connector you actually needed, ok?

Flying a P2 with stock mushrooms & patch antenna, I swapped out the mushrooms for these, and did notice an increase in distance by about 50%... BUT, the video signal breaks up, even at close range - not such that you can't clearly see it, just a lot of lines and interference, which only get worse the further away I fly. I have successfully reached around 1.6km before complete signal loss. I am now shopping for better cloverleafs and a helical antenna to greatly improve range.

If there are any CP antennas out there built better than these, I have yet to find them! This pair is polarity-matched, and built so well that I have yet to bend the elements even after some more than moderate crashes. Your results will vary, but my range extended from 90 meters (the quad manufacturer said 100 meters, but I never got that much range with the stock antenna) to just over 450 meters, and probably farther but I ran out of line-of-sight space where I was range-testing. Just remember that the antenna with three "petals" attaches to the FPV transmitter on your model, and the one with four petals attaches to your FPV receiver.
