Replaced my older POLARIS 500 winch hook that failed due to the spring and clasp failing on the hook closure allowing loss of towed components. This one is stainless steel, has a better closing assembly and is hell on stout. Much improved over the original. And I now see in the newer 2023 models Polaris has come out with something very similar to this one but at substantially higher price. Works as well or better than original with easier to operate latch, fully rotational hook and stainless steel components.

I used these to hang my hammock. It is very windy and my hammock was spinning and getting twisted in knots. With these, my hammock simply spins in the wind. NO twists or knots! They are very heavy and great quality! Heavy Duty Slip Hook is a must for a swing or hammock!
