The weights have an insert that protects the line as it travels through the weight. I have not used this product yet but I expect it to work well. If not I will revise this post.

They are nice and heavy (which is what you want for a typical sinker) they will sink right to the bottom of the water that they are placed in—something to do with gravity? (I'm still looking into it) But I caution you against licking them! Although they taste of so sweet, like the backside of a trash dumpster; I've been told that they are poisonous! So yes, good for sinking, not so good for tasting.

The plastic inner sleeve is a nice touch. Seem to be nice quality so far. No rough edges or flash left on that can cut hands or fray the line. Delivery was on time.

Thank you i loved my egg sinkers. They are awesome they even have a inside cylinder in plastic or nylon i forgot beads and they still protect knot.
