It would be nice to see better quality LEDs in a microscope ring light. This one doesn't have them. The LEDs flicker and could be an issue for someone with sensitivity. It's not a pleasant light to work with. The color temperature is very blue and the spectral output doesn't make for accurate color viewing.

I've received the first item without an adapter ring and immediately returned it for a replacement. The replacement also came without the adapter ring. Wrong description. The value of this product, in comparison with others, is the presence of the adapter ring. However the ring does not come with the product.

I have 3 inspection microscopes in my shop. All three are different, seems that the models change. This model is thedimmest of all. Workable, but dim on high.
