Great value, reasonably wide field of view, adequate eye-relief, good price. No noticeable optical aberrations, acceptably flat field.What not to like? These are for the smaller 23mm diameter microscopes and as such are not as nice as premium 30mm eyepieces for more expensive 'scopes. Still, very fine value.

The first time I ordered they sent me a huge kids microscope kit. So I was glad I wasn't in a hurry. Sent it back and reordered and got the right item. Everything looks good. It took me a while to get a calibration slide from someone that works at the college. So all my work is calibrated to a institute. Not every reticle and calibrator slide are exactly the same.

The viewing field is full of occlusions larger than some spores I need to measure. Not external dust that could simply be cleaned.I believe I received a returned ,repackaged item as well. I can not recommend this product. Will be returning. See photo included.

I had bought a grid for my microscope and It did not fit, this eyepiece solved the problem and all I had to do was slide it into the tube. I strongly recommend it if you have to measure spores, pollen, algae or similar. AmScope really takes seriously its business offering good quality for a low cost

Works well for making very fine measurements without touching the parts being measured; Really benefits from also having a calibration slide.
