I believe these are now made of aluminum instead of that thin, cheap plastic they were using.At any rate, it is much heavier than the ring that comes with the ring lights and it actually works (doesn't fall out).As anyone who has one of the ring lights knows, the adapter will not stay screwed in and the light falls off. This adapter works, it screwes in tightly and the light now stays put.Too bad they don't include this with the ring lights. We shouldn't have to spend extra for this.

I didn't receive the right part and as always...........packaging is appaling
