Product Description

All cars that were manufactured post-1980 feature an oxygen sensor. It is located within the emissions control system. When functioning, the O2 sensor sends data to the management computer located within the engine. In your car, a functioning O2 sensor ensures that your engine is running at top performance. Additionally, this sensor keeps your emissions in check and alerts you to when emissions are too excessive. For states that have vehicle inspection programs to regulate emissions, the use of the CEL and O2 light will alert officials to any excessive emissions.

The 2008 Outback had the P0420 code pop up. After installation and about 10 miles of driving the code turned off. The fit was perfect, the quality looked good. Having the code turn off naturally makes me smile. Both of these sensors appear to be working well. I don't usually buy cheaper alternatives, but the OEM sensors are just too damn expensive.

I am very hesitant to use this close to OEM O2 sensors. A mechanic had just replaced it today. Mileage of my Subaru forester 2010 192,000-ish and with new catalytic converter. I’ll let you all know if check engine light came back on.Today is November 10, 2024. I put 3000-ish more mileage and it didn’t disappoint me so far. In addition, I’ve saved $200 dollars in comparison to the so called premium/oem sensors. These catalytic sensors cleared off the Check engine lights. To sum it up, it works on my car.Im giving it 4 stars for it’s just been more than a month of installation. I’m looking forward for those sensors to lasts for at least more than a year.

Looked good but it failed to work Not impressed! Right out out the box and installed only to find that the product is not working after testing on the computer. At least test them before sending out to be purchased by the public.

Good product - Works great - FYI - If you are going to put these on a old rusty catalytic converter / exhaust system you may not be able to get the old ones off to easy.

I tried to register my vehicle at MVD but the emission test failed because the check engine light is on. I dropped my vehicle in the shop to get estimate the work to resolve the check engine light. Finally they came up with a list of 3 major things got to be fixed. One of those are the work to resolve check engine light. Total cost was about 3 grants. I said my vehicle not likely be valued more than 2 grants but fixing it costs 3 grants. I'm not going to do it. I did the search on YouTube and started to gain idea what I can do to solve the problem myself with the lowest cost. I just need couple of O2 sensors to solve this problem.I checked couple auto part shops and realized they're selling better name sensors but double the price. My vehicle is old so I don't know how long it's going to last. I decided to get these lower price to test them out. After replaced with these sensors for my 2007 Subaru Outback, the check engine light is gone. I brought the vehicle back to do emission test and it passed. That's all I need. Now I just wait and see how long these sensors still functioning as expected.
