I purchased this so I could unzip and use without taking it out of the bag since it had the cord hole. However, it does not allow the material to pass through the machine. But the case itself is great!

I purchased this holder to store my Cricut and tools within. It makes it very convenient for when I want to take my Cricut to my friends and do crafts together. I highly recommend this storage container for your Cricut, very well constructed.

The pictures show cutting with the machine while it is in the bag and the text says "cutout for the cord works well without removing the machine entirely" leading you to believe that you can cut while the machine is in the bag. I hadn't used it yet, but when I thought about it realized that you cannot use the machine in the bag because you need space at the back for the mat (or material) to travel while cutting. You absolutely do have to pull out the machine to be able to use it.Also, the pictures show that the flap that goes over the machine to close the bag is holding mats. That area cannot hold a full Joy Xtra mat. The full mat is 14" long and the length of material that flap can hold is 10". If you look closely at the picture, you will see that the flap contains the card mat and the mat for the original Joy, the tiny one. Do not cut your Joy Xtra cutting mat. It won't be recognized by the machine if you do because when you say you are cutting with a mat, the machine senses the length of the mat.I will have to place the machine on a cutting mat and have the mat wrap around the machine to be able to carry one with me, which is the point of a carry bag -- to have your needed materials with you. Luckily, the mat and cutting materials won't be wrapped to tightly because if they were, they would be very annoying to use.I am keeping the bag because I can make it work, but the mat and materials carrying part is annoying.

I purchased this knowing I would not put my mat in here (I knew they would bend). Purchased it strictly for storage and to travel with and it’s perfect for that. Also it’s adorable. Has a longer shoulder strap that can attach if wanted, storage for tools and 2 side pockets.

This Amoigee carrying case is not only perfect for storing the Cricut Joy Xtra, but it is also ideal because you can take the Cricut Joy Xtra anywhere with the handy carrying strap. It is also possible to slide the device a little out of the carrying case to work with it. There is even an opening at the back to insert the electrical cable.

It is a very sturdy carrying case. The only thing I would really complain about is it won’t hold my cutting mats. It will hold the card cutting one, but even then if you were to put it in that big zipper pocket, zipping it back up would be an issue as 1 you would not want to bend and ruin your card mat, and 2 it would look quite awkward and bulky. I’ll use this carrying case to keep it safe and carry it from one place to another but most likely end up purchasing another one when it comes available to also be able to carry my cutting mats and hopefully some vynal. Other than that I think it’s great and feels great.
