9 Wicket Croquet Game
Product Description
The Deluxe Croquet Game Set contains 8 hardwood maple mallets which are lathe-turned and hand painted in sectioned rings with matching colors to their corresponding balls. A polished brass ring adorns each end of the mallet head to prevent the wood from cracking and smashing. The two stakes are lathe-turned with multicolored sections. It comes ready to play with a wooden holder to keep your game organized.
The nine 5/32" diameter vinyl-coated, metal wickets are very substantial and will not easily bend. The balls are made from a plastic polymer and are 3-5/16" in diameter.
Our Story
I, Larry Kauffman, along with my family, currently live in the beautiful hills of Southeast Ohio. We started Amish Toy Box in 2010 as a hobby and an opportunity for a small side income and by 2015 it had blossomed into a full-time job. Bethann, my wife, is kept busy at home being a full-time mother. We have 6 children who love to play with wooden toys that are blemished or damaged, and they enjoy "helping" Daddy ship out orders.
As a family, and in our business, our goal is always to treat others the way we would like to be treated. We hope that by providing quality toys and games to you, we can bring simple, family-oriented fun to your family.

We were looking for a really nice croquet set and looked at other reviews. This one stood out and when we got it we were super impressed and feel it was well worth the money. I am sure it will be durable and last us a lifetime.

I am surprised with the quality of this set. It is definitely sturdy, durable and very well polished. I love the handle that makes it convenient to carry around. If it wasn't for my Amazon gift cards, I probably would've looked for something else. Better quality lasts for much, much longer. It's expensive, but I think it's well worth it.

I just received this croquet set,and I do not regret my purchase. I bought it as a way to get family members together and have fun! I want to build relationships, make them stronger, and create lasting memories. I had a croquet set when I was much younger--and I remember the fun! I am 70 years young, and a grandmother--I want them to have the lasting memories that make me smile. This set is beautifully crafted, the wood is solid maple as advertised, expertly finished, and put together. It will last for many years. It came very solidly packed together. The balls were individually wrapped in protective plastic, and in a separate box with the hoops that are also very heavy duty. The handles for each mallet were also individually wrapped in plastic sleeves. The mallet heads are beautifully finished, with a shiny brass ring to protect from splitting, they were again each individually enclosed in a protective plastic bag, and in their own box. The rack that holds all the mallets, balls, posts and hoops is also a beautifully crafted piece,solidly built and I can carry it loaded--with one hand. The shipping boxes used are very strong cardboard, everything arrived in pristine shape, that includes the packaging. And--they included a sheet of how to play the game. Amish Toy Box--JOB WELL DONE!

This set is a gift for my wife. I did tons of research and this set seemed expensive, but still the best value for the money. I’m a firm believer in “you get what you pay for” and in this case that belief was reaffirmed.That said, I still wasn’t 100% sure what to expect based on the couple of negative reviews. After receiving and assembling the set I can confirm the beauty and craftsmanship are exquisite. It’s one of those things that once you get it unpacked and setup you just want to stare at because it looks so pretty.I haven’t given it to my wife yet but I can already tell she’s going to love it. I’ll update once we get a chance to play it.One other note. The manufacturer stands behind their product 100%. Our yellow mallet head had a minor chip near where the handle threads in and they agreed to send us a new mallet head free of charge. There was no arguing or “talking to managers” necessary. They just politely said “we’ll send one right out”. Money well spent.

This product is well worth the money. Not only does it look beautiful but our Grandchildren had great fun playing with it over Thanksgiving. So happy I chose this one.

With the pandemic my family has found this enjoyable. We've changed it up and set the wickets around the yard like a Putt Putt course. On the weekends my son and I have played all day. We found the mallots to be both sturdy and light. Great buy for my family.

Mallets are well weighted and sturdy, as well as the balls. My family plays a lot of croquet, and I can see this set lasting years even under our heavy use. I ordered the longest mallet handles, and that works fantastically for us, as we are fairly tall people. The durable white wickets are highly visible in the grass, unlike many other sets I've used.The wood feels very good in quality, and everything fits comfortably onto the compact rack. My only complaint is that the rack is not very stable. It is a little top heavy. I worried it would fall over on one of the kids because it wasn't stable in the grass. It would be a better rack if it were equipped with wheels and a heavier base.All in all it was a great choice of a croquet set for a family that takes croquet a little too seriously. We have played several games already, and none of the mallets have come lose at all. I anticipate this set staying in the family for years to come.
