I've installed dozens of these in my small business, and many more in my own home.If you're reading this, you may be laboring over the same worries that I had; "Are these quality?", "Will they flicker?", "How do they compare to brand X from the Home stores?".I was there, too --but these are seriously very good! I've purchased lights 3 different times (probably from multiple production lots); never once have I had one not work. Not one. I've read the reviews of people saying they've have the occasional dead light. Or how they can flicker (that's a dimmer problem....not with these lights).Obviously, I can't guarantee anything. BUT, these lights have my full endorsement - and I'll buy them again if needed! The ONLY thing I can think that I wish I knew when I first purchased was related to the junction boxes; the knockouts are sharp! Be sure to buy something to insulate those openings to protect from wire abrasion and eventual shorting out. That's just good practice, and probably required by your local codes!

Not sure what happened, but these are significantly dimmer than the Amico 3CCT version. Picture for reference. Also, can clearly see the outline of the tiny ‘bulbs’ on the inside which bothered me when looking at them.

First of all these were 12 for less than a 4 pack of similar lights at Home Depot. And son likes their lights that replace director bulbs for can lights. I like the small control box, but did wish it came with 1/2" strain reliefs. Sheet metal is thin and sharp so it is easy to pinch fingers with the door while wiring. Box is tight - 14/2 nmc recommended. Space is really tight for 12/2. Good color choice, I like 5K for kitchen. No brightness selection but can use many dimmers if you need that. Four 6" do a better job in our kitchen than four fluorescent bulbs did. We used a 6.3" hole saw as recommended but a 6 would likely work - hole is larger than I would prefer. Two very strong springs hold to ceiling.

Works well with Levitron dimmers and are noise free. Easily installed but all you need is a 6” hole. The 6.25” cutting template reduces the the lip of drywall the lights sit on.Company was very responsive and corrected a problem with a couple of the units very quickly and courteously. I will be buying more of these. Well pleased. Very bright and easily adjustable color temp. Well made.
