Still running like a champ after a year of installation. It runs silently. Installation was easy I did it myself.There is only 1 minor problem problem. The drain it comes with at times will block the water flow and you have to force it open for the water to drain by pushing the rubber down. It is a minor annoyance for me and I could use scissors to cut the rubber pieces a bit to stop it if I wanted to.

Product works well. It's quieter than many I've seen and easy to install. Takes 5 minutes to put together and swap with the old one. Power cable is pre-installed, which is great. It's a little longish or tall under the counter, but no issues in ether regular or extra deep sinks.

This seems like a great value. I bought this because it has a big motor on it and is affordable.It has some flaws and does not seem like they tested this before manufacturing it. The magnetic ring to catch silverware is a good idea that does not work. And the splash guard in the sink hole does a great job preventing splashes and ensuring quiet operation, but the material is too rigid to let food through, which is its first job. So we replaced that with a 3-1/4” splash guard from the big box store.It seems to start more gently and be less torqued than older InSinkErators - probably because of its bigger motor. It has had no issues so far handling anything we throw into it. And it runs fairly smoothly and quietly.Overall it seems like a good value and a very effective garbage disposal. We’ll see how long it lasts.

Still waiting for a refund.To sum it up, don’t buy this. It is heavy and a real pain in the drain to rebox and return.
