Made in India in fact - which isn’t too surprising given the price. I’m sure it was made by some of the same laborers with zero safety precautions that you see on TikTok. The 1/2 oz side does fill another measure I have to 1/2oz. The 1.5oz side is a bit more than 1.5oz. It’s not clear if American Metalcraft is actually an American company but if it is, one can understand the labor pressures. Regardless it would better if these were stamped out in the US even if production was automated.

1/2 ounce is 1 tablespoon. So the 1/2 ounce end is great for measuring a tablespoon of stuff without having to pulling out all the measuring spoons.

I bought this because I participated in a cocktail making class. I’ve always wanted to be a mixologist part time and this jigger definitely served its purpose. It’s about 1.5 ounces on the larger end so be mindful when certain recipes ask for just 1 oz of something.

For a couple of bucks you can't go wrong! Weird that Amazon offers subscribe and save for a cocktail jigger though. I'm not sure if that's an oversight or if enough people kept ordering these that it got turned on. Still it's a great little jigger, and it's clearly labeled. I'm not going to make a habit of putting it in the dishwasher but it looks like it could handle it.

Bought as part of a self-assembled bar set as a gift, and as a former professional bartender thought this jigger is good quality at a good price point.
