Using 3 of these as layers on my toddler's bed to make middle of the night bed changes quicker: mattress cover, fitted sheet, mattress cover, fitted sheet, mattress cover, fitted sheet. Like bedding lasagna.

I ordered these as backups for my sons mattress. Make sure to open fully and remove all inspection stickers before washing or they will stick to the pad. Also do not wash with any other fabrics as i did with a flannel blanket (that had been previously washed) and ended up with a pad with so many pieces of micro fluff stuck to it, I've been using my lint roller to remove it for at least 15 minutes each pad. Unsure right now of durability or waterproofs, will update review upon further use.

I recently purchased this pad set when I ordered my son's new crib bedding set and mattress, as I have been happy with the play yard protector I previously purchased last year. It fits the new My First Mattress I got my son great. They survived the initial washing and drying, as well as subsequent washings (just make sure you do not go above warm settings with medium/low drying - DUH!) My son has had a few leaks in the past (he's a heavy wetter at night sometimes) and so far no leak-throughs! Overall quite happy with this set and definitely recommend that you purchase at least two for those inevitable bed changings so you don't have to wait for the first to be clean before re-making the child's bed!I also like that the protector material itself isn't crinkly and noisy! So no disruption for a tossing and turning wee one!

This mattress is pretty firm but thats exactly what we were looking for. We use it for our 60# elderly boxer. She is able to get up on it and off awesome because of the firmness. We have it sitting directly on the floor. She is much less stiff now that she's using this mattress. We had previously been using a memory foam dog bed and she was soooooo stiff and couldn't hardly walk when she would get up. So glad we made this purchase!

Love this for a older baby/toddler mattress! It's waterproof (has held up to multiple accidents and spilled water glasses over 2 years), and large enough to easily fit a mattress. The organic pad made by this company is great and more padded (but not too much), but I had trouble with it shrinking (washed on cold and air dried) and not fitting very well. Not so with this one. It even fits the LA Baby Mattress (which is a bit bigger) perfectly. I'd definitely recommend it.

UPDATE: these have remained on the couch all this time. They've survived several family holidays with messy family eating messy post meal desserts on the furniture. Even survived great grandpa's tremors and coffee!The stomach bug hit the house and BOTH boys vomited ON the couch, of course. They have been washed multiple times, the sheets not the boys, well, them too.They've held up great through it all.The ONLY thing that could make them better is if the sides were also water proof. Sadly we just had another puke episode, on the couch (sigh) and it managed to occur right between two cushions. The mess seeped down & easily went through the sides of the cover. But the rest was stopped from getting onto the cushions.I still highly recommend!~~~~~REALLY good protection against spills or accidents! I actually use this to protect my couch cushions when sneaky dogs get on the couch. Believe it or not my puppy actually peed on the couch and this pad kept the cushions completely dry and odorless. A must-have for anyone who has kids or pets and furniture. so basically just about everyone!

I purchased these for our twins crib mattresses as they are getting ready to transition to toddler beds soon. The vinyl or plastic or whatever it is on one of our sons' mattresses has started to crack as he loves to jump in his bed and has about ruined his mattress. I got these covers to hopefully extend the life of his mattress, make it a little more comfy and to keep any accidents from soaking into the mattress itself. These have been a godsend! It has been great to just take these off and throw them in the wash and not have to worry about wiping down the mattress. I think they will also be nice this winter when it gets colder here in Missouri as these add an extra layer of warmth between the kiddo, sheet and the vinyl of the mattress.
