you can't tell, but one one side I have it right, the other side I have it upside down...have the lights lighting up going to the outside...Looks great!

So, trust me reading this reviewIf you want some blinky lights for your rig...this product will deliverIf you grew up in the 1960-80s and actual "know" what VU and dB readings are supposed to look like and do...this product will leave you scratching your head.Back in the 1970/80s we used to record music on cassettes using a tape deck. They had dB meters. You wanted to "average out" the recording to around 0dB before it went into the "red". VU meters are similar but need to register 1/3 octave and weighted properly.REVIEW- The way the display "blinks" is from Mars or Venus. Strange all or nothing with input. Almost ZERO bass blink. It is simply annoying and wrong. There is zero science or standard followed in the programming/engineering of this unit...like having a "toy car" for kids vs the real thing- This unit is just "eye candy" that does nothing but piss off those who expect old school VU/dB meter performance like we had in the 1970/80s- If you need something to fill a 1U space, I suppose this unit would suffice-

I bought this unit in 2018 when the price was $69 and it still works perfectly for what it's supposed to do, which is look good in your rack. I don't usually wait 5 years to review a product but in this case I felt the need to do so. If you expect it to give you accurate readings of sound pressure levels then you need to spend much more for another piece of equipment that's made to do that. However if you want to sit back, watch and enjoy your system as well as listen to it, then this may be for you. It does not add or take away anything from the audio signal whether it's on or off. If you have 1 unit of space in your rack for utter coolness then don't hesitate.

Do not like that it uses a wall wort power block with a USB connection. Wished it used a regular 6' NEMA 5-15P 120 volt AC power cord. Find hard to plug several into a regular plug strip in a 1U power strip in equipment rack. Love that it has both RCA and XLR connectors for both in and out connections. Unit has good range on the trim adjustment for customer level setting.

Day Two working fine so far... Shipping was unbelievable fast.. Good quality item from a good seller.Im going for my second one this Wed. Lotta fun to play with while Jammin' on my system.. If you looking for flash and to bring your system up with some eye candy..This is it.. Worth the money. Well built. Ive spent a lotof my $$ on my system..Now it looks ALMOST as cool as it sounds.. FUN!!!!

Will ad review when I get the chance to hook it up. After two weeks of use and getting comfortable with the operation I give it 4 1/2 Stars 🌟 it works as described and it cost effective. Plus it looks great, I have one for the rear channel one for the front channel and one for the surround channel would like to get one for Center channel soon. I have one for all the channels now and it looks great

This thing is awesome and hard to beat the price. My only complaint is that the sensitivity adjustment doesn't travel very far, I'm left wishing I could make it more sensitive and that's on xlr input's, I'd imagine rca would be even less sensitive but I don't know that for sure (*edit: it's responding properly now, maybe I didn't give it enough time before a review, bumping to 5 star from 4). But still it's active at higher volumes which is probably when I would want to see it the most. I'm only knocking off one star for that because it ticks all of the other boxes
