Custom Placement
2' x 2' Reinforced steel lay-in ceiling plate has 5 mounting points for easy adjustment & alignment. Shown in middle placement. Rotate tile and/or use one of the other 4 placement choices. Additionally, the plate includes cutouts for 2 standard outlets for mounting additional equipment or electrical components.
Universal Design
Its unique design, array of drop extensions, and cable management allow the mount to adapt to almost any installation.
Small projectors - use 3 arms instead of 4 provided If mounting points are smaller than universal spider, simply rotate the arm(s) under the universal spider plate.
Large projectors - use 4 arms provided Simply rotate the arms to suit.
Very Large projectors (with mounting points over 12 inches apart) - use the optional extension arms (AMRP10057) to extend the arms from 12 inches up to 15.7 inch reach.

The standard packaged arms supports mounting points up to 12" apart. An extension arm kit is required for mounting points that range from 12" to 15.7" (sold separately).

the mount is great for drop ceiling. only problem i had was that one of the screw was defective and had to exchange it for a new one. wish they would provide just the screw but Amazon do not do that.

I bought this mount to use for my home theatre which is in my basement. I have a 2x2 drop ceiling and a BenQ TK700STI projector. The tile has a nice secure fit and the mount is very easy to adjust to get your projector into the perfect position. I also really liked that this unit has three mounting options on the side, besides just the middle mount option. I moved my projector to the side middle mount point because it allowed me to line up my projector with my screen without needing any keystone correction. Overall, I am really happy with both the ceiling tile and projector mount!

This was by far one of the best investments we have made! We use drop ceiling and the actually ceiling is maybe about two feet higher than the drop ceiling so before we were using a long arm projector mount to go straight to the actually ceiling, but there would be a lot of shaking and the projection image would ‘unadjust’. I took the advice of another buyer and took the time to use my existing ceiling tile instead of just using the metal ceiling tile provided. Simply cut the outline of the arm, put the original drop ceiling and then the metal plate on top of the drop ceiling, and screw in the arm! It looks great and clean! Highly recommended, very sturdy and easy to use!

Ordered 3 of these for our office. Fit into our standard ceiling tile frames just fine and cutting one of the tiles in half completed the professional look. Adjustment and tightening of the mount is easy and stays in place with our Epson projectors. Would definitely buy again.

Even though I buy a lot through my Amazon prime account I very seldom take the time to write a review but I have to make an exception this time. I was so happy to discover this metal cover for the projector mount fits as advertised a 2x2 ceiling tile. My boss was so impressed by the way it looks in our meeting room. The adjustable projector platform will easily fit any type of projector. I'm using an Epson VS240 SVGA 3LCD Projector 3000 Lumens. It even comes with metal cable to secure the whole piece in case it comes loose.I don't have any negative thing to say about this product.I am using an HDMI cable from the projector connected to a wall port. From the HDMI wall port it is connected to an Apple TV device. With this setup we can project on screen from any Apple laptop, iPhone and iPad device wirelessly using Apple Air Play. No more ugly cables strewn on the table or on the carpet.Not sure why the orientation for the images I posted are coming up this way but it shows up correctly on my Mac.

If you have a standard size suspended ceiling but no easy way of fixing a projector post to the ceiling then this is perfect for you. You just remove a well placed tile and replace with this unit. Then run your services to this as needed and away you go 😀👍

This is a great solution to a drop ceiling mount. I used it in our theater basement room and it was much easier than cutting a hole in the tile and attaching a mount to some other location.I only had two minor issues with the product and I don't feel like these are deal breakers. 1. The bolts to attach the mount to the projector are a little short and for my projector they did not reach. I ended up purchasing longer bolts at the hardware store. (One side note is my projector needed metric bolts and not standard as well. I have the Optima HD141X projector.) Not a huge issue as I figured with a universal mount there may be some adjustment. 2. The knock outs for power, the holes to attach a box too are a little off. Again not a deal breaker and I managed to make it work.The universal mount can be a little bit to deal with to make it fit and work on the projector, but with a little patients you should be able to get a good fit. I would much rather have a universal mount than one specific to the projector, then if I change projectors I don't have to get another mount and go through the whole process again.

I followed the installation instructions, but when I got to the part requiring me to fit the mount to my Epson 8345, the arms were not long enough. I called Amer the next day and I was immediately put through to someone. He stated he would call me the next day regarding availability of longer projector mounting arms. 2 hours later he called and stated that the extension arms just finished production so they did not have an item number in order for me to buy them. Since they were not able to sell them to me yet, they had a set shipped directly to me from the manufacturing location in FL. I received a FedEx package the next day with the extension arms and they fit perfectly, which helped keep me from needing to remove the suspended ceiling tile install and return the entire kit. The responsiveness of this company was exceptional. The product is all metal and very sturdy with plenty of ways to adjust the projector angle.Great product and very responsive company.
