I am delighted with this camera. I trust the Amcrest brand and decided to try a new indoor camera from this brand.I mostly use it to monitor my cat while I’m away from home. This camera was very easy to set up with the application. Very clear instructions to follow.The picture resolution is great. I can see the picture very clearly, and there are no delays with motion. I really appreciate the night vision feature; you can see the room very well. The camera also rotates around itself but does not make a full circle. I noticed that after the camera rotates, it takes a couple of seconds for it to refocus, but this was not a huge deal for me.You can take a picture of the room with this camera and they are pretty clear. Pictures are easy to access through My FilesHuman detection is a useful feature too, I activate it when I’m not home and it gives me a piece of mind.The microphone works well, and the speech can be heard clearly, almost like on the speaker phone.I haven’t experienced any glitches while using this camera.I had a few Amcrest cameras purchased a couple of years ago, and I used a different app for the,m Amcrest Smart Home. It was convenient because both my cameras were connected to that app.The Amcrest Link 4MP WiFi Camera uses da ifferent app - Amcrest Link.I have no problem using both apps for different Amcrest products.The Amcrest Link App is easy to navigate, and it is pretty intuitive. It was very easy for me to find and control all the features that I need there.Overall, I’m very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs an affordable yet reliable indoor camera.

Pros:1. I love the features and the look of the security camera. The video is very clear and crisp. Motion on the video is smooth and not interrupting when people or animals are moving through the frames. Viewing video in low light situations was very consistent with what I've come to experience with Amcrest cameras.2. The design of the camera has a nice weighted base making it easy to have around the home without having to "hide" it to prevent looking out of place. It blends in naturally with decor.3. The human detection feature worked well for the most part. It was able to identify and recognize a person that was moving through the video. That is an impressive feature! Motion tracking was impressive and helped to keep track of the person moving through the environment.Cons:1. One improvement with the design I would like to see is cover or more color options. Even though it has a nice shape for indoor use, if there were either other color options or "covers" to place over the camera to match furniture, that could be an additional benefit.2. The setup process could be a little cumbersome for non-technical people. I do wish that Amcrest would focus on all their cameras having a single app to use. The app was a little slow and sometimes lags in showing videos.3. Most Amcrest cameras have the ability to record to a NAS device in addition to the cloud and MicroSD card. This one does not appear to be able to record to my NAS. The only two options are the cloud services and MicroSD. I use a local NAS to store videos from my cameras so my data is not "in the cloud" and this device really should have that feature.Overall, this is a very impressive security camera. I do like the pan/tilt/zoom feature set of this device so I am not "locked in" to one viewing angle. I recommend this camera for indoors use, especially useful for monitoring pets, children, etc.

We have been Amcrest customers for years. We have everything from PTZ cameras to battery cameras to panoramic cameras around our property. They have always been reliable and easy to view each camera with our Iphones and on our TVs with Roku.This camera is also very nice. It was reasonably priced, easy to set up and has been very reliable. We set this particular camera up to view two dog kennels inside our house that we use to contain our pups when we are away and the weather is poor. They work well when we use the Amcrest Link App on our Iphones and can quickly pan from one kennel to the other.The only issue is that we always use the Amcrest ViewPro app and this camera requires the Amcrest Link app. Viewpro allows us to check all nine of our cameras quickly, but it will not connect to this camera. So, it is a real pain to switch between apps to look at all of our cameras. It's not a big deal because we only use the ProHD when we are away and our dogs are inside. But it is still kind of a pain.If you are looking for a few cameras that will connect to Amcrest Link, then this a good, reasonably priced option. But if you want to setup a whole house security system then it is better to look at Amcrest cameras that can be viewed with the Viewpro app.
