1. What are the ingredients?

Lactobacillus Acidophilus 7.5 B cfu/g, Pancreatic 4X (Proprietary Blend of Amylase, Lipase, Protease) 25 mg, Glucosamine Sulfate 100 mg, Chondroitin Sulfate 100 mg, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) 100 mg. These are the core primary ingredients that can help your dog' s digestive and joint issues. All ingredients are evaluated for purity and potency, and then given to our own dogs to make sure they taste great and work as intended! Other ingredients which are necessary to help hold the product together and to give Turmeric Chews it's yummy taste are: Dicalcium phosphate, Liver (dessicated beef, undefatted), Stearic acid, Whey, Bacon flavor, Magnesium stearate and Silicon dioxide, Microcrystalline cellulose.

2. What's the correct dosage for my dog?

The number of tablets to give your dog each day depends on both their weight and their individual condition. To start, give your dog no more than ONE tablet daily with meals for the first 2-3 days (1/2 tablet if your dog is really little or has a sensitive stomach.) This will allow him or her to adjust gradually to this change in diet. Then, after the few days gradually increase the dosage each day by one tablet until you reach the recommended dose by dog weight: Under 25 lbs = 1 tablet per day (or 1/2 tablet per day for really small dogs), 25-50 lbs = 2 tablets per day, 50-75 lbs = 3 tablets per day, 75+ lbs = 4 tablets per day (or more for really large breeds). However, each dog is an individual with a different situation, and so you may need to adjust the dosage (giving more or fewer tablets per day) for your dog. The idea is give your dog just enough each day to create a positive response. A 100 lb dog may respond great to one tablet per day, while a 25 lb dog may need four per day to help their conditions. Then if you feel it's needed for your dog's weight or condition (eg: digestive problems, or joint stiffness), then you can start to increase the dosage by one per day until you reach up to four per day (larger dogs may require a larger dose.) In any case please do not to worry... this product was formulated to be totally safe for dogs of all sizes, even at the higher recommended dosage.

3. Where are the ingredients sourced and manufactured?

All of our products are made here in America, and most ingredients are sourced from here as well. Some ingredients are sourced from safe and sustainable locations outside the USA when they must be. All finished products are manufactured in small batches and evaluated for safety, potency, and to ensure there are no contaminants.

4. Should I give this product with food? Should I give the daily dose all at once, or spread it throughout the day?

You can give it whenever it is convenient, but the product will be better absorbed when given with meals. If your dog gets multiple tablets each day, it may be better absorbed if given throughout the day.

5. What if I don't notice a difference after a few weeks? What is the shelf life of the product?

For most dogs the #1 most important thing to seeing positive results is making sure the animal is receiving the proper dosage. Please see the dosage recommendations above. The shelf life is generally 2 years from the date it was manufactured. The bottom (underside) of the bottle shows a recommended usage by date.

6. Are the tablets crunchy or soft?

Our tablets are crunchy chews, and require far fewer preservatives, which is better for your dog. It helps with cleaning their teeth as well. Most dogs love to crunch on them! If they are too hard for your dog, you can crush the tablet and mix with food. This can be done most easily using an inexpensive pill crusher, which can be found at any pharmacy.

7. What if my dog won't eat it?

While most dogs gobble these down, for a select few it works best to wrap the tablet in something they like eating (eg: roast beef), or crush the tablet and mix with their food. You can get a pill crusher at most drug stores, which makes this very fast and easy.
