Not sure what some of the other reviewers are complaining about. Do these feel like some million dollar piece of hardware? No, but there 16 bucks. And still, they feel stronger and more secure than the ones that came on my bags. I like em.

The knobs have high spots and when tightening them i could feel feel them digging into my fingers. Also, the bolts are very cheap. I wouldn't trust my bags to this hardware.

I purchased these to replace the flimsy quarter turn locks from the factory. The thread diameter is sturdy and really cinches my saddlebags to the frame. The wider surface area of the knob helps increase effort needed for someone to rip the bag off.
