So, I have a RoadKing (NOT BLACK) that makes the wife's Lexus look like a Corolla. (just kidding, honey!) But a couple years ago, a guy in a _MW changed lanes into me and destroyed my saddle bags (not to mention my left shoulder) and they had to be replaced. The doctor did my shoulder, but the dealer did the bags. since then, I have replaced the springy-twisty saddle bag things twice. Then, just last Thursday evening, I took the bags off to wash and wax the bike, but could not get those suckers back on. Either the front springy thing or the back springy thing, but not both at the same time.I was looking for a glue gun, but decided to check to see if there are others out there, quietly suffering for the inability to reattach their saddle bags, and Shazam! 2 clicks and 18 hours later, these little problem solvers were on my front porch. It took about 3 minutes per side and the bags are back and secure, ready to fire that hog and ride. Except it was bed time and well, you know....FIVE STARS*****

I ordered these turn-knobs to replace the existing pin fasteners on my 21' Street Glide. I have used similar knob style fasteners in the past on previous bikes and loved how easily they fastened the saddle bags. These knobs were smaller and I had great difficulty lining them up and getting the threading started. While they may work for you, I believe the pin fasteners are much easier to use.

I replaced the mounting hardware on my 2016 street glide saddle bags. Newer models now come with this style hardware. The install is simple and fits perfectly. My saddle bags are now mounted more securely. I am happy with the results.

Installed easily but with the vibration of riding all 4 tend to loosen up, always check tightness before riding anywhere!

Bought these hoping they’d be durable and sturdy. They are neither. What they are is cheaply made junk.
