Sturdy, very easy to keep clean, and handy in the bath.

I am trying to purchase and use less single use plastics after watching the documentary Plastic Wars and learning only 10 percent of the plastics we "recycle" actually get recycled. Now instead of buying plastic pump bottles of body wash and hand soaps I buy Dr. Bronner's castile bar soaps wrapped in paper and use these sopa dishes in the shower, and next to the kitchen and bathroom sinks. They are durable, look nice, and are a great price.

Very good product and, surprisingly, fits the longer soap bars I’ve been buying. Totally satisfied!

I liked all the products received. Jeans fit, soap dish was just what I needed and the right size for Rice shampoo/conditioner.

Cute design but after a week, it gets mold. Even though I clean it, mold comes back immediately and it is not healthy at all. They should disclose this in the description.

These are wonderful and exactly what I needed. I have expensive shampoo bars and soap that I do not want sitting in regular soap dishes that could accumulate moisture because that makes them get used up too quickly. I use one of these in the shower for a shampoo bar and one on the bath counter for an expensive soap. I keep the one in the shower on the on the other side of the shower curtain, and I never let water run into it, I keep it dry. I do the same with the one on the counter...I let the soap drip off the water before placing it back onto the dish so water is not accumulating. I keep a paper towel underneath both dishes for any extra drips. I live in the high desert so the low humidity helps keep the dishes dry; maybe if you live in high humidity these won't work for you. But the people who complained about mold...lol that's not the dishes' fault, that is your fault. If you allow water to sit around, eventually you will get mold so keep the dish clean and dry. This is a lot easier than you think. I mean, who lets their soap sit in water in a regular soap dish anyways? These are fabulous bamboo dishes for your expensive soaps.

I recently re-did my shower, converting it from a 70's version with a plastic curtain into a larger shower with tile walls, nice fittings, glass sliding doors, etc. It looked really good, and I wanted something to hold bar soap on the rack that I installed. I was looking for a dish that wouldn't create a pool of water that would dissolve the soap, ad also something that would look esthetically pleasing. This filled the bill. The slats allow water to drain, and as a result, my soap doesn't melt away. The bamboo doesn't discolor or mold, and is easily rinsed out. Price is reasonable as well. Highly recommended if you are looking to put bar soap in it and you don't want it to dissolve in a pool of water.

The bottom legs are too low, so can’t avoid water. Even once a day, before going to bed, remove water, the bottom began to mold in two weeks. And also the color faded off at the same time.

What you see is what you get: A well-designed soap dish made of bamboo. Natural looking; has vents for water to drain. The only issue for us is it will get moldy if it just sits in water a long while, just like any piece of wood would. If you let it dry out and sit in the sun, this can keep the mold down. I haven't tried Clorox on it yet, that might work.
