I can't say too much about it as I couldn't use it on my bike because the bottom mounting arms were to small (my fault as I tried to mod a rear suspension bike). From what I could tell trying to attach it was a sturdy frame with good quality parts which would function fine with the recommended weight without bending or taking on any extra angles in the frame. As for the weight of the bracket itself it was a bit heavy but that is to be expected from something with such a high weight rating. All in all I can't recommend as I couldn't mount, but it seems like a solid buy.

The Amarine Made Bike Rear Rack is excellent. I keep it attached to my bike at all times, and it reliably supports my 24L HONGYEA Bike Bag, where I store an extra battery for my e-bike and other items when running errands. I’ve never experienced any issues with it unlatching, bending, or showing signs of wear. It works flawlessly and has proven to be a dependable and sturdy addition to my bike.

Fit my vintage Cannondale MB perfectly. Super light weight but strong and secure. Really like the racks design for adjusting front to back depending on your bag size. No instructions but comes with all the tools you need and is not hard to figure out from the on site instructions. Had to trim the seat stay gaskets in half as they come oversized. Seat tube gaskets were perfect. My bag has small drop down panniers, so the side brackets are perfect to keep the bag off the wheel. Very good quality for the money!

Tolerances were off for the bolts for the support arms attachment to the bike so had to install it other than intendedRed part of the reflector popped off just by picking it up

Nice bike rack, adjustable fit, seems sturdy. No instructions came with the item, but it was easy enough to figure out from the product images in the listing.Pro tip: for a standard width bike, the support arms that mount in the middle of the rack should go on the inside of the pannier support brackets.

Bought this and it came with no instructions. Complicated to install, I broke one of the screws by tightening, under about 35 pounds of weight the whole thing snapped into pieces. It is not worth the struggle of installing when it breaks on the first use

My daughter needed a box on the back of her $80 Walmart Huffy bike, hard to spend $40-50. Found this $23 rack to be very suitable for a cheap bike. Rack looks like $50, clean aluminum , good welds, clear black paint. Kit arrives even with the disposable tools needed for assembly. Then it gets 'not so good'. There are absolutely NO INSTRUCTIONS and there are lots of parts. Without looking at the Amazon Photo, I probably would have given up trying to put it together, and I am not an idiot most of the time.WARNING: SEAT POST MUST EXTEND AT LEASE 3.5 INCHES ABOVE YOUR REAR TIRE OR FENDER or the rack will not fit because it will rub on the tire.WARNING: NOT EASY TO INSTALL WITHOUT A PHOTO. (No instructions provided)Overall, I would give this item 4 stars but I am rating 1 star on Amazon so hopefully someone will read this review cause someone without skill is going to have some trouble and the seat needs to be higher than usual to fit.Save some other soul some suffering and give this review a 'Helpful' click so they can benefit also.
