I bought the collet to use with my Next Wave Shark HD520 CNC and it works just fine for that purpose. Bits are held effectively with it. The only issue that I've had is that it is a bit difficult to snap into and out of place in the collet nut. I have not been able to push it in by hand, but it snaps properly into place by pressing the collet nut down over the collet onto a bench top. It snaps out by holding the collet nut in one hand and pressing on the collet with a tool - I've used the rounded end of a chisel. I would not hesitate to buy another Amana Tool collet, though.

My spindle came with a .25 collet but would not let the bit go all the way in. This one is working great and now chuck the bits where they need to be chucked.5 stars for this product.

Amana Tool is a TOP manufacturer that produces yet another quality product with this ER20 collet. The fit and finish are excellent and i know that i can count on continuous duty in my CNC, When purchasing ER20 collets do NOT try to find the lowest price since you will be matched with low quality. I have used a wide variety of Amana Tool parts and have never had bad performance.
