I honestly didn't think it'd be this flimsy, and is this hole supposed to be there? It looks ripped. Claiming durable construction is false and description advertised is deliberately misleading. If you barely move it, it collapses. I got for chicks but as soon as they're pretty mobile they'll likely collapse it on themselves. I should have gotten a puppy playpen as this for small animals is so short the chicks will try to jump out, it's very shallow. If you barely touch it, it collapses. Because it's so cheap, it bends too easy to qualify for any safety regulations and shouldn't be legal.

Purchased for a Syrian. She absolutely loves this thing. Different beddings, sand bath areas, toys, foraging options.... just a ton of space for a ton of activities. It's nice having another option besides us humans to keep her entertained and safe during her out of cage times. Definitely recommend if you have a bored hamster.

Great pop up brooder or play pen for animals! Good size and completely enclosed. Can't fault it. Comes with a bag to store it in so it isn't popping up all over the place and can wipe it clean which is handy. Plenty of ventilation.

Very easy to set up, and open. We are using this as a brooder for our young chickens prior to sending them outside to the coop. Plenty of room for 3 or 4 chicks.It gives them plenty of room to look out, gives plenty of ventilation, and it's simple to get in and out to clean and change the water/food.One note: The bottom is not "solid" like a ripstop nylon. Therefore, dust from the chicken bedding bleeds through over time. It's important to put this on some plastic to keep if from getting into your flooring.Another note: The chicks got hold of one of the threads to a side window, and proceeded to unravel that, separating the screen from the lower fabric. I ended up stitching it up to close the gap with thread and needle. Haven't had that happen anywhere else on it yet.So if you have chicks, hamsters, guinea pigs, small rabbits or the like this is a easy way to set up a temporary pen for them. It folds back up flat when you are done with it. And if it needs cleaning, a good spray outside and letting it dry is probably all it will need.

We purchased this for our 2 yr old bearded dragon to use when we take him anywhere with us. It’s working pretty great, but the zippers are poor quality, and the seam is tearing from the zipper after just a few uses. Let me qualify by saying that our beardie has climbed to the top and hung, and I doubt it was designed to hold any weight. His claws are long but he’s very gentle, so he’s not scraping at the sides or anything. It does the job to give him some space to run around when we are away from home. We put food and water in it along with a cuddle hut with a heater pad, and he’s very happy in there. Sometimes he just wants to be with us, and that’s when he climbs up to hang. I don’t see this being effective for an animal with teeth or larger claws, but if your animal is calm and won’t scratch at the walls, it should work totally fine. Overall, this was a good solution for us but it’s definitely not high quality.

Es práctica y fácil de instalar, plegar y transportar. No me gustó porque el cierre es muy frágil y se descompone en poco tiempo. Se usó para un roedor que brinca y no resiste. Sería bueno un cierre más resistente y con refuerzo. Gracias

I got this for my 2 guinea pigs and it works very well for when they need some outside the cage time. It is large enough for the both of them to run around easily. I got the zippered top which is great to keep my other animals from jumping in, but does present a bit of a pain to try and unzip. There is no zipper holder and the zipper feature itself is super thin and mine already has some separating on the one end. If the zipper breaks I won't be able to use it. I wish there was a velcro or something at the top that you could roll the zipper top onto while pulling the animals in and out. It just falls into the cage area where it is likely to get ripped. The mesh itself on the sides is very easy to rip if you're not careful and I worry a bit about the guinea pigs nails catching on it or the cats scratching at it from the outside. The other problem with the top is that the hole is right in the middle of the pen. This makes it hard when you want to just turn it upside down outside or in a garbage can to get all the animal poo out. It would be easier to do that instead of getting on my knees and bending over to clean the inside each time. The fabric is lightweight and I loved it came in a little bag. I have had no issues with chewing from my animals, but agree with other comments that this material will definitely be chewed through quickly. Unfortunately I was most disappointed with the "waterproof" claim, it is not. I clean the pen everytime the guinea pigs are in it because the pee soaks right into the fabric, although there is some that sits on top that I can just soak up with a paper towel. I would say the material is more like water resistant jackets where the first few drops of rain bead off, but then you get soaked. This product is easy to clean, I can just throw it outside and hose it off and let it air dry (although remember about the circle opening at the top, getting any debris or large pieces of anything out is a challenge). It is easily portable, I can move it from one room to the next. For the most part is has sufficed for what I bought it for, but am worried on how long is will really last. I'd love to see some more improvements to indoor/outdoor small animal enclosures.Update November 2020-zipper on top came off as I suspected it might and one guinea pig did end up biting a piece of the netting on the side which created a hole that soon spread. This only last 2 full months for me, I'll be looking for something more durable next time.

This playpen was prefect for introducing my kitten to my older cat. I put the kitten inside and they were able to interact through the screened sides, until my cat became comfortable with the kitten. My cat was not aggressive toward the kitten and only growled and hissed, so it created a sense of security for my cat that the kitten was "contained". The cat also enjoyed getting inside the playpen to get used to the kittens scent - would definitely recommend this playpen for this purpose. It is not an overly sturdy playpen though, as my cat can move it around easily when inside, and he likes to flatten the sides when entering and exiting the playpen.
