They virtually leave no mark on fired pieces and are easily loosened after firing. Distance between wire prongs measures 1-1/2 inches. Cone 04 maximum.

Recently bought these to fire coasters for Christmas gifts. I will be buying more. They kept the glaze from the coasters well off the kiln shelf preventing any glaze drips from hitting the shelf to be sanded off later. I want more of these to keep on hand for those projects that have glazes that flow and for items that have glaze close to the bottom. Definitely recommend these stilts.

Very nice for kiln use while firing glazed pottery. Keeps glaze pottery from fusing to shelves.
