This is a solid, quality device. It does what I need it to do and quickly. It came with two nice usb-c cables plus the fixed length cable permanently coming out of it that I connect to my large monitor.I do wish two things were different about the design around cables.First, it would be good to have the single cable be more flexible in length and/or more bendy. I wish it was shorter for my monitor that has the usb-c port on the bottom. As it is, I have to deal with a several inches that I can barely hide with cable management. The other change I would seek is the location of the other to usb-c ports. Because they are on the opposite side of the switch from the permanent cable, I have to deal with cables coming out in front of the monitor, so I can hit the toggle button. It would be better, in my opinion and use case, if the ports were on the same side as that main cable, so I could neatly lay the switch box down under my monitor, with all the cables managed behind the monitor. Even if the ports were on the side or sides, it would be nicer for my setup.I was able to get this switch laid out across the monitor stand well enough that the cables aren’t in the way. But I’d rather not see them.It is a good product that simplifies changing between my desktop and laptop computers (a Mac Mini and a MacBook Pro) very easily.

I used this to try to switch my dock between two laptops for the purpose of sharing 2 HDMI monitors and keyboard and mouse between them, alternating at the push of the button. The signal does go through, however, the screens blink on and off. They do not stay on steadily. I am not an expert, but I believe the switch cannot handle as much signal as I am trying to run through it… so it is working intermittently to try to keep up. This switch will not work for my purpose.I am going to try a dock that has switching built in next. I will return this switch.

During conference calls, the system would stop transmitting and disconnect my headset, keyboard, mouse, and monitor for 10 to 15 seconds. This occurred multiple times in the middle of a presentation.

Product doesn't work with docking station. It keeps restarting monitors if you have multiple monitors.

The switch works great. Fortunately, they supply all the cables that you need which is a huge plus. Make sure to pick up a USB-C to USB-C adapter. You’re going to need it for sure. If you’re wondering what it looks like just look at what other customers are frequently buying along with this it’ll be listed.

It couldn't handle three monitors, but I'm still giving this switch 5 stars because for the price it works great with my setup of a laptop, desktop computer and docking station utilizing two monitors. It also charges my laptop just fine connected via USB C

Allowed our printer to be shared between our two computers. It takes a second or two after pushing selector button for the indicator on the other side to light up however. Bear in mind that a separate power cord is supplied and must be used, so there are then 4 wires coming out of the box.

I won't give it a 1 because I haven't tried it with simply a USB C monitor. But I didn't know there was a thing honestly. A monitor is DVI, which is the same as thunderbolt sans audio, so a monitor, even with a USB C connection, should be thunderbolt. Well this device apparently doesn't support a thunderbolt display like the LG Ultrafine, which was designed to work with Apple products. If you need one to work with the ultra fine bump it up to the Cable Matters one, which is a little more, but it works and ALSO doesn't require a separate power source. Likely because thunderbolt carries enough power. The Cable Matters also has a nice little remote.
