These PP vials work great in Shimadzu SIL-20A HPLC autosampler when sample volume is small. Body of vial is same as standard vial but with integral conical insert. I didn't need to adjust needle depth. Nice to have these around for times when available sample volume is at a premium. Have not checked for holdback, carryover, or manufacturing contamination yet.

I got these vials to collect sediment samples from different bodies of water for lacustrine studies. Since the samples are to be looked at under a microscope, the small 2 mL capacity of these is no problem and their small size is very convenient for being able to store a lot of samples. The lids screw on no problem and I like the PTFE seals. Recommend.
