Yeah, you know which brand I mean, the one we have used for 20 years or more. OK, 40 years or more.I just couldn't get my fingers to click the buy button. Not for the amount they were wanting for the same product, only with the 1/4 inch grid I wanted. I purchased a pad of the 11" x 17" blank vellum thinking it had the grid.I'll use it eventually but not what I needed. When I found the right product, I was surprised to see it was almost twice the price. You might not find out while looking for similar products, but if you were to use "the Google" you would see a few other brands. One of them being ALVIN Quadrille Paper Pad.For the value, I was willing to give it a try.I'm glad I did. The 50 sheet pad is just what I needed for a project. It did take two tries though. The first pad arrived in a plastic bag that was stuffed into my 6" x 6" mail box and the damage paper was rendered useless, to me anyways. It was replaced only this time was in cardboard so it went into the parcel locker rather than my mail box. This paper works as it should.Thank you for a great product.Don Forgash

this company used to make a smaller version it was 4.1" x 5.8" & 80 sheets... it was a few years back but they specifically made cover of the pad sturdy and creased so it could fold over the back. It was an excellent product I bought this one hoping it was somewhat close to the one I loved and it is not at all.

This paper is perfect for me to practice blueprints with. My only complaint, and its a minor one at that, is that it was not cut straight so that while one corner lines up perfectly with the graph print the other side does not. Its only a few millimeters difference so its not all that noticeable until I go to count up from the bottom. When I do I just go to the flush corner, count up, and then mark it and use my ruler to guide me to the other side.

This is a very good graph paper pad that I use for designing furniture and cabinetry at 1/4 with one square equaling 1 inch. My one complaint is that it peels off the glued edge more easily than I'd like, as I like to use the pad as a "book" to store the designs, but this is small complaint so no reduction in stars.

Excellent paper quality at professionnel level...Just that I ordered 4 pads of 50 sht of 17x22 quad paper for the price of $138,56And received ONE pad only, being much insufficient, considering the real unit value. Was there an error?Thank you!

I bought these with the goal of using them to draw larger-scale maps for Dungeons & Dragons (Castles, cities, etc) and it's working great. A lot of issues I usually have with tear-out paper is the top getting stuck and not ripping properly--this has no problem tearing out cleanly every time. I've also had trouble with the lines getting erased when I have to erase a pencil line on top of them--also not too big of an issue if you're not trying to sand through the paper with it. It's also thick paper; I traced pencil lines in sharpie and none of the ink bled through onto the protective cardboard I was using.Great stuff.

Not everyone will need a graph pad this size but if you do...you'll be grateful they're on offer her. Good, heavy back which makes working on your lap possible-just don't lean too heavily. The paper is heavy weight, holds lines, colors and, if water is involved, doesn't "crinkle" as badly as some others. For laying out furniture in a new home, this is a "must have". It makes an interesting and attractive wrapping paper for gifts that don't have a season as well as great for children at play-big enough so everyone can have a spot.

I use this paper for everything! I've drawn house plans, barn plans, landscaping plans, remodel plans, deck plans, orchard planting, garden plans, and more. It is the same scale (1/4) as some of the templates you can find for furniture, bath fixtures, etc., so makes it easy to draw & move fixtures around on paper. It's large enough in size that I can fit everything I need to on the page (only occasionally taping pages together for large-scale landscaping projects). I use a mechanical pencil as it erases easily (fine lines) and a big red eraser.
