At the time writing this review, the pd is thirty five for the 17x22 and I consider that over priced- I originally ordered it because I made the wrong assumption that this was cotton rag, like some of Alvin's other drafting pads, and cotton rag is excellent. But this is just pulp paper/film. It still works well, which is why I still rank it high, and it's for professional use so it's not junk, but the price is considerable for oversized graph paper.

As a sucker for office supplies of all sorts, graph paper is genuinely one of my favorite things. This graph paper pad is a win in the size category! I imagine the intent with this paper is for designing floorplans or other such serious work but I'm not that kind of person. The real best use for this graph paper is absolutely for designing maps for tabletop roleplaying games! Giant maps! I love it.That said, is this worth the price for what I'm using it for? Probably not. But the quality is excellent and if you are needing a larger graph pad for professional work, I don't think you are going wrong purchasing this. I'm going to give this product five stars based on what I believe the quality is for its intended use. If you, like me, are using this for something fairly frivolous then you may want to explore cheaper options.

I didn't realize how big this pad was until I got it. Its enormous! It's WAY too expensive for my taste, but the paper quality is great, the lines are perfect, nice and light so they don't stand out too much and ruin the drawing. I imagine this would be great for architecture sketches and blueprint ideas, but It will be very useful for me to practice drawing and measure my larger art work for transfer to large canvas. Thats why I got it, I wanted to be able to measure my artwork as I sketch it so when start putting it on giant canvas I will have a better understanding of where I need to put things and how far apart things need to be. It may not make sense but with math and grid paper I can put anything i draw on grid to a much larger canvas with very little error.Very easy to use, and very good quality. I only held one star back because the price shocked me. This is a very expensive 20 lb pad of paper. I got 3 pads of super large easel paper without grids for 10$ cheaper than this one pad. I could honestly use a ruler and draw my own grid lines to save all that money. Not sure why it's so expensive..... you'll need to be a fancy architect to be able to afford using this stuff as sketch paper. Ill be using this sparingly as I don't see myself buying it later due to the high price tag.

Reasonably thick paper. Grid lines run true to the paper edges. Stands up to erasure.
