This is a simple way to build a nice table without having to worry about the base. Putting the based together is on the simple side but it takes a little time to install. The adding the base to the table is simple enough, I just put the table top upside down on the ground and the base on top.The design is different than what you normal see, so that is always a nice touch, would go great with wood, stone or metal in my opinion. I have a beautiful piece of spalted maple that I made into a round table top and was looking for a matching base when I came across this one. I really liked that it had a retro style, and a bit of flair vs. something a bit more plain like a standard diner table base.The finish is very smooth - I didn't notice any rough edges or rough welds. It's nice and sturdy when assembled. The only thing is that it's a little tricky to assemble - it's not hard to understand, but you could really benefit from having an extra set of hands available. I was able to do it by myself, but had to hold everything just right to get it all to line up. It's very difficult to explain, but don't let this deter you.The table looks great, is nice and solid, and has a beautiful finish - exactly what you want in a table base. Definitely recommend this one!

Overall I’m very pleased with these table legs. I purchased 4 bases to use in a cafe. The material this base is made with feels like plastic over metal. And up close looks less expensive. I was hoping more for wrought iron. However the style is exactly what I was looking for and for that reason, I’m very happy with them.
