I've used wooden pizza peels in the past, but after buying a heavy pizza steel for my oven, I wanted something a little thinner.I tend to use the wooden peel for stretching the dough and building the pizza, but after it's placed in the oven, I use this aluminum peel to easily slide under the crust and reposition the pizza and remove it from the oven.Being perforated, this peel is great for allowing the pizza to cool slightly and keeps the crust crispy. After it's cooled a few minutes, I'll usually slide it back onto my wooden peel or a cutting board to slice.The peel has a leather loop on the handle for hanging it, or it easily stores in the cabinet. I have a vertical baking sheet storage rack above my oven and it goes easily next to my other peels and larger pans and cutting boards.

As I screwed the handle onto the peel, it felt a bit soft, flimsy. But once it was attached, this thing rocks!The handle is solid, no-nonsense, show those pies who is the Italian Boss. The aluminum peel slides under bread or pies or any yeast-based, oven-baked product really with complete confidence. It flexes but doesn't droop. It doesn't a pretty good job of not sticking to the dough.Sling those pies with aplomb.

These work well for the price, but sometimes we have trouble getting them under our flatbreads. Also, one got knocked to the floor accidentally and the handle broke completely off. We were able to fabricate a new one.

Definitely was worth the purchase to go with our new pizza oven. Pizza slides on and off easy and very durable. Great buy!

We got a blackstone pizza oven and this fits perfectly for the size pizzas we can make in the oven!

Got this as a replacement for a wood peel that I struggled to get under the pizza in the oven and most times just made a mess. This peel, with the thin but strong aluminum gets into the oven and under the crust without issue allowing me to turn the pie quickly at 800+ degrees. The handle is strong and well attached and I like that it has the vent holes as it seems to cool quickly. The vent holes do make a mess if using cornmeal and they make it a bit harder to clean, but that is not a deal breaker for me.

I have two active teenager boys and we go through at least 5 frozen pizzas a week. My wife was at first concerned they would burn themselves pulling pizzas out of the oven, quickly followed by frustration over the mess they wold make in the oven trying to use a fork to remove the pizzas with. This handy tool addresses both and has gotten great reviews in my house. They use it to both slide the pizza into the preheated oven, and then to slip under to remove once done. With the handle and length of this thing, they don’t have to get too close to the hot parts and avoid making as much of a mess.

This pizza peel makes it easier to get your pizza out of the oven.I like using this before I would put the pizza box to the shelf and push the pizza in. I burnt myself a few times but now I don't have to stick my hand in the oven.
