Used to overdrive alternator on a 2000 Outback with low idle issue that would cause undervoltage charging problems. Has more groves than I needed but still fits fine (requires shorter belt too). Perfectly oversized to speed up alternator at idle and hit 14v again.

These pulleys are very nice with spacer kit to allow proper alignment, you will have to make sure you have proper belt wrap to avoided the dreaded belt squeal and slipping, other than than it allows the alternator to spin faster at idle to both charge your battery and using all your factory car accessories at the same time without draining your battery, before if I had wipers full high beams full blower ac running with both fans I would be below 12 volts, now I’m sitting at rocky steady 14.3 volts, it allows the alternator to generate more power at idle it doesn’t increase the alternator’s max limit but allows it to provide more amps and voltage at idle, spinning it faster at idle not only allows that but also keeps your alternator internal fans spinning faster and cooler

Used this in a jeep Xj with a one-wire GM alternator conversion. Worked as described with slight reaming of the pulley and provided washer
