The length is adjusted by adding or removing 16” rods, which the product comes with 3 including two 16” end pieces and 3 brackets.I was really iffy about putting the curtain on the rod because of the cheap quality, but I’d say that it worked out just fine! I was even able to use only two brackets, which was necessary for my single-panel curtain.

So happy the rail came with attachment hooks for the wall! Super sturdy, easy to put in, love how big the sizing options are,and they are cute! It's not heavy at all and the strength of the bar and hooks are incredible. I have 4 blacked out curtains on it and it holds them up super well. If you know, those curtains are pretty heavy.

I’ve been looking for a rod, online and at the store, and I am sure glad I decided to get this one! The price was phenomenal. It was super easy to install and have up and curtains on it in no time! Love how it can adjust to needed size, too! It looks nice and sharp and does it’s job! Highly recommend!

When I unboxed this, it confused me because it's not a true adjustable (sliding) rod. It comes in segments and each piece screws together so if you're needing to adjust it to a precise measurement, you can't. It limits you to either adding a full piece or leaving it off. Each piece is roughly 12 to 15". I didn't notice this when I ordered it but think it's kind off cool. Because of this, the overall sturdiness of the rod is unmatched. It's strong and we didn't have to use a center support. Just keep in mind that if you're needing to add one or two inches, you can't. You're married to adding one full piece.I strongly suggest looking at the measurement breakdown so you're safe knowing it is close to the size you're needing.

I didn't think there would be much difference between my old white rods to these new black ones, I was wrong they are easy to put together, easy to hang and open/closing is so smooth and they look great!

Please be careful if you need this to be exactly a certain length, such as fitting on the inside of the window casing because it's not as adjustable as I had expected. For some reason I thought this would work more like a shower curtain rod and the tension would make it expandable to the size I needed but it doesn't work like that. This has rods that you put together and each one is about a foot long so you add as many of the rods as you need to fit your window. But that does mean that you go up in increments and there's nothing in between. As you can see in my picture, the rod hangs out quite a bit over the edges of the rod holder, but if I take one rod out it's too short. This works fine for my purposes and seems to be a good quality curtain rod, but if you need something that adjusts to a very specific length this probably won't be what you need.

Honestly, for the price, I was thinking this curtain rod would be pretty flimsy and not look all that great. However, I was wrong. These were easy to install and I’m grateful for the extra support in the middle of the rod as it helps prevent the rod from sagging in the middle. My curtains are fairly heavy weight and the rod hasn’t budged at all. These aren’t super fancy but for the price I think they look pretty good. I’d purchase again if needed.
