It works! Just flew to Florida (3/10/2025) and back and it worked. The trip to Florida my ears barely plugged up but was easy to yawn and pop them. The trip back home, similar but did have to pop them a couple more times.Sat next to a person on the flight who had the same ones. He noticed mine and commentted how he couldn't fly without them.I remove mine after take off when the plane levels off and back in before decent. Again it's working fabulous..without them I had unbearable pain (I used to never have this issue until a year ago).Comes with a simple caring case and a tool to take out the ear plugs (I did not need the tool) and you can hear well enough when the flight attendant speaks (very clear).

I bought them because I get really bad pain on descent. It's so bad that I've previously gone deaf temporarily. I had zero pain using these. They were very difficult to get out though. Don't think I'd use them if traveling alone. Much better to have a partner with a pair of tweezers.

Same as many other reviews, I'm here because I experience tear-inducing pain during flights. I have used earplanes for a few years now, and they have saved me. I was nervous to leave what was working, but also hated the single-use of EP. I just flew SLC->ATL and FlyFit worked perfectly. Highly recommend, since FF is reusable.Btw, I used child size EP, but the adult-size FlyFit fit me perfectly. (Kids Pluggies were way too small for my small adult ears.)

Growing up I would get pretty intense ear pain during flights, so I got these on recommendation from my co-workers. I wore them during the trip and can report that I had NO ear pain. Which is great, that might have been due to my growing up and my ears changing, but these were comfortable to wear and brought me comfort in thinking that I shouldn't have ear pain during the flight.

I flew to and from my daughter's wedding in America, with no pain and absolutely no hearing loss! Was amazed by how effective these ear protectors are. I have always suffered ear pain on even short flights over the years. Last time I flew to America, my hearing was impaired for three months afterwards. I learnt very rapidly to read my customers lips, it was that bad. Can't praise these easy to use ear plugs enough. What a difference! Love them..

I have struggled with air travel my entire adult life. I frequently say I can only go up and down 2x. I wouldn't dare take a trip that required 3 flights. I traveled to the UK from the US and these earplugs were absolutely amazing to me! I did not have the continuous ear popping after the flights and no popping with pain during the flight. I was able to hear people speak and enjoy the entire trip there and back. I will absolutely use these again.

I had ordered these for a recent trip and they worked great! In the past, I would always suffer from terrible ear pressure when I flew and I am talking about it would be painful enough I wanted to cry. I would do all the tricks and it would still be terrible & symptoms lasted couple days after I landed. With Alpine Flyfit earplugs, I would put them in just right before they would close the door of the plane and then I would LEAVE THEM IN until we landed and doors opened. I still did the little tricks of yawning and chewing gum to help. I had slight discomfort the first time, then my ears adjusted or "popped" within an hour and I was able to enjoy my trip! Flying home went even better! I completed the same steps, had little discomfort but within the hour I was fine. Total game changer!! While I was wearing them I was still able to hear but sounds were muffled and I couldn't listen to music but being able to hear comfortably later was worth the boredom on the plane. I also appreciated the carry case (easy to slip into pocket) and little tool to help put in or pull out. One reason this product caught my attention when I was researching was that it was REUSABLE!!

Li consiglio senza dubbi!!!

I’ve written a similar “glowy” review for Earplanes, but Alpine are even better for me! The rest of this is super long, detailing my contrasting experience with each. Lots of you won’t care, be warned, and don’t be mad at me if you choose to read it all 😂 Bottom line: both work. Alpines are better.Context: I’m pretty well-traveled within the US, but only moderately so via air travel since I drive within 12 hours or so. I probably fly somewhere every 1-2 years. About a decade ago, when I began flying more frequently, I realized I was having excruciating ear pain. My left ear is always worse. Is my pain tolerance the highest out there? Unlikely. Nonetheless, there were a few flights where the pain was so bad, I thought my eardrum burst. Wiped my ear to check for blood. Crying while sitting next to a poor stranger. The pain would eventually reduce but hearing loss would last for over a week.I LOVE traveling, so I scoured the internet and discovered Earplanes first. I used them for a few years, including a trip from Boston to San Francisco to Hawaii and back - a vacation literal years in the making. They reduced my pain and hearing loss by probably 85%. I was SO happy, I remember crying from joy because the getaway we needed wouldn’t be marred by so much discomfort.Unfortunately Earplanes were single use only and very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Their instructions recommended leaving them in for entire flights, but I couldn’t tolerate them for 6 hours at a time. This meant breaking that seal and rendered them less effective when I put them back in a solid hour before landing. They were painful to me, but much better than nothing!!!On a recent Boston to Phoenix trip, I was restocking my Earplanes supply and tried out this brand as well. They’re it for me. Game changer. Super comfortable. So soft. Easy to take out and put back in, and made to do so. (That’s my husbands favorite part so he doesn’t look as controlling when ordering for me from flight attendants because I can’t hear ANYTHING with Earplanes. He uses to get suspicious looks 😂).These did a more effective job of balancing pressure for pain and hearing loss reduction for me. And they’re reusable!!! Huge money saver and a perk for someone kind of crunchy, like myself. They’re going to live in my airplane kit, and I may legitimately buy a backup. All of this said, I did purchase the child size Earplanes to try (perhaps the others are too large and less effective for me). I didn’t even try them, and not sure I will because the price to pay for a product not working well for me is pretty high.In contrast, Alpines completely eliminated my ear pain, and I only experienced hearing loss for maybe 30 minutes before they popped. No meds. Can you tell they’re there? Yeah. You’re wearing earplugs. But they didn’t hurt me.I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these to anyone who had bad ear pain while flying. Whether for work when you need to be in control of your body, or for play when you’re just trying to have a relaxing getaway!! Life’s too short and these are too affordable to just “deal” with that level of debilitating discomfort.

I purchased these when I recently flew. I would get severe ear pain as the plane decended. This time I used the ear plugs and chewed a large amount of gum. I felt minimal pain. They lookand feel similar to the headsets given out by the airlines. I can't say if it was the ear plugs or large amount of gum that minimized the pain.
