The letters are small, the letter “I” could easily be a chocking hazard. Unfortunately I had purchased this along with other items as gifts and had discarded the packaging or I would have returned it. My toddlers are NOT allowed to play with this toy as it is unsafe for them right now. I also found the workmanship subpar, the letters do not fit easily into the cutouts and there is no peg to hold each puzzle piece which is important at their age (unlike the size I should have noticed that by the picture).

This puzzle is a great addition to the other wooden puzzles we have for our two yr old. She is loving trying fit the letters in the correct places. The colors are nice as well so we can work on colors at the same time. I would recommend to others.

My three year old loves using and can stay entertained for quite some time before finally placing it down. None of the pieces are sharp and are easy to place on the board. The board itself does not rise high so if you do not keep this flat, the pieces fall out place. Overall, this is worth the price value.

I stock the shelves in my classroom with puzzles of various levels for the students to use for a leisurely activity. They love working on them, especially since they can do them independently without support from an adult. I ordered this one for a specific student that loves to do puzzles every morning after breakfast before we do core academic work.This is a great addition to anyone’s puzzle collection. The pieces are large and not a choking hazard for smaller kids. The pieces have vibrant colors that match its slot on the board to help support students with disabilities, by helping them identify letter slots more easily. Lastly, each piece slips into the slots easily without much effort and that helps students with their hand eye coordination. The only reason why I gave this puzzle four stars instead of five is because the grooves to put the pieces in are not as deep as I would like to secure the pieces in when placing the board on the shelf. As seen in the photo, the pieces bulge out of the board a little too much and means they fall out more easily.Over all, I am glad to have this puzzle on the shelf full of leisurely activities for my students to enjoy! I love watching the students rotate puzzles and see how fast they improve their speed over the duration of the quarter!
