The concept of this pocket chart and alphabet learning cards is great. It works well with the letter of the week program for my Kindergarten class. It offers sentences for each letter that offer ways to hear the sound, penmanship guides for both upper and lowercase versions of each letter, that seem mostly accurate so far (I have noticed one letter so far that had incorrect numbering for the steps in forming the letter), four picture cards per letter that illustrate the starting sound, and two sets of full alphabets (one mixed up) for students to identify them amongst the other letters. The cards are made up of a sturdy, glossy paper that will hold up well over time, and the clear pockets have worked perfectly well with dry erase markers. Now for the cons. I believe this may have been created using AI, because the images do not seem like they would have passed human checking. The images for the sentence cards are of an inconsistent style, some with a retro look, others with a modern cartoon look, and some that fall somewhere in between. None of those seem wrong, but they just are not cohesive and seem AI generated. The photo cards for letter sounds have numerous mistakes and strange choices for children. Among the ones I've noticed so far are a raw rack of lamb used to illustrate "lamb" - any normal person would have chosen an actual baby sheep for that image. "Overalls" shows a picture of cargo pants, "umpire" shows a soccer referee, "quilt" shows a plain white comforter, "goat" shows a sheep, and those are just the ones I've caught. There may be more. There are also quite a few errors in capitalization and punctuation, which is not great for something that is supposed to be an educational tool. For the price and intended function, I am disappointed with the quality of the content, though the pocket chart and paper materials are good. I will have to replace all of the photos that are incorrect, since I don't want my students to be confused by photos that don't match the letter sound or label. I would NOT buy this as a gift for a teacher, but if you plan to use it yourself, be warned that you may need to proof and replace several of the cards before using them.

I ordered this for my 4 year old daughter. Overall, it's great and helpful for her learning about the alphabet. The cards are nice quality; colorful, thick, and glossy. The size is perfect, it's large but not overwhelming and fits on a standard size door. The included hanging clips were helpful and have not fallen down or come unstuck.Unpacking everything and removing the cards from the paper took about 10 minutes. A couple of the image cards tore a bit but are still 100% useable. Most of them convey an image that represents the word well, but I've included a picture of some of the odder ones, like raw meat representing "lamb" and a sheep representing "goat". Some of the words are pluralized when they don't have a picture that reflects that ('rugs' when there's a single rug and 'vegetable' when there's a pile of them) and I get that X is a difficult letter to represent but "xmas tree" may not be the best choice, and I had no idea a common ground squirrel in Africa is a 'xerus' but it is indeed, the correct name.My daughter is starting to display left handed preference, I bought her a special 'learn to write letters' book to help her and the letters that come with this set are (understandably) for right handed writers. She hasn't really had any difficulty writing the letters as they're shown but I do notice a difference in the book vs this set on how they're done. It's an impressive set, with everything you need to teach the letters of the alphabet, EXCEPT for a dry erase marker. I'm surprised, for the cost of this set, that it didn't include one! Other than that, I'd say it's worth the value. It is well made, keeps my daughter engaged, and is fostering her interest in learning how to write the letters.

This is a pretty amazing product! It is an alphabet pocket chart set for use in a Pre-K or Kindergarten classroom when teaching Letter of the Week. The pocket chart is of sturdy, high quality material. It even comes with sticky back hook to hand on the wall or a whiteboard. The cards it comes with are a nice quality, and include chant/poem cards, photo cards with labeled words, letter cards, and tracing cards. There is a "find the letter" section of the pocket chart for visual discrimination and a spot-n-dot section for picking out the letter amongst other letters. I am happy with the quality of this product and think it is a really amazing deal!
