The nylon-web oxygen tab with contrast stitching is a unique detail that pays homage to the original mil-spec MA-1 that had the tab so pilots could clip their masks to it. Only thing that sucks is the decal on the back. The Skymaster has better length than the MA-1 Slim Fit, about 1 inch longer. 6ft, 140lbs. Size: Small.

6 ft 180lbs, bought a medium and fit pretty much perfect. I have long arms and was concerned the sleeves would be too short but they were not. Waist length could be just a bit longer but I think it’s in a fine spot as long as it doesn’t end up getting shrunk.Jacket quality is great and looks good. Only deducted a star because I believe they could have provided a better quality “remove before flight” piece.

As described, like the matte fabric (versus shiny on the regular MA1). Got XS based on fit guide and fit is bang on for wear over a t shirt or maybe two thin layers. Probably more a fall/spring piece than summer, not insulated like MA1 but is lined. Quality looks same as regular Alpha Inds MA1, i.e. above average. Price seems to vary a lot from day to day on Amazon so if it looks too pricey one day leave it and check back after a day or two.

Great quality and solid product by Alpha. I own 2 other Alpha jackets and this looks like it may be my go to as it combines the right amount of weight without being too puffy or hot to wear while layered. For sizing, I am 5ft 11 145-150 with a 40 chest 30 waist and wear a 16 neck 34 length sleeve in a dress shirt. The medium jacket fits me perfectly where I can layer or simply wear a t-shirt with the Skymaster. If you are looking for a bomber jacket that isn't as puffy as the original style this is your best option. The water resistant material of this jacket is a step up in feel and quality compared to the original even though the original is great material.

The nylon material is a bit on the stiff side and thus makes rushing noise when the arms brush on the sides. Otherwise it's a nice jacket.The replica blue is very very nice colour.Amazon initially sent the wrong size, fortunately after a phone call, they rectified the problem quickly. But because this is my first Amazon purchase, it did put a damper on the experience.

In love with this jacket. Grabs attention everywhere I go. I did take off the red tag on it, saying "Remove before flight" or something along those lines. Past that, I wear this jacket just about daily in the winter right now. It's stylish, but actually keeps me warm in very cold weather still. Win-win.

Quality:You get what you pay for: The jacket is more expensive then most brands that make bomber jackets, but the quality is far better and includes custom stitching. For the price tag, I do wish that the red zipper chain was an authentic stitched "remove from flight" chain rather than a cheap one. Otherwise the jacket is superb.Size:I am 5'8", 170 lbs with broad shoulders. I ordered a medium.The jacket is slightly longer than a typical bomber jacket since it is a "rain jacket" (similar length to a shirt).Shoulders/chest are very tight when zipped up which can be uncomfortable when moving your arms. I did not/do not plan on wearing it zipped up since I wear it as a fashion statement. If you plan on using the jacket when hiking/running/biking, etc, then I'd recommend going up a size.Shipping:Arrived earlier than expected.

Was considering the MA-1 Slim Fit Bomber jacket, but noticed this Skymaster jacket was a more lightweight jacket which is what I was going for and for a slim/thin build and I'm really glad I went with the Skymaster.I'm 5'8'' and 130 lbs and a very slim somewhat muscular build but have a hard time gaining and this jacket fits perfectly in small and is now my favorite jacket. It fits perfectly over a undershirt and casual shirt. Quality seems great and it feels great to wear.

Great looking Jacket. I ordered XL my usual size and it fit. Have not worn it much yet, it being a Christmas Gift. Look forward to wearing it when the weather gets warmer here in New Brunswick, Canada.
