Unfortunately, not suitable for my application. Purchased to clamp corners of my finished, maple cabinet door. Not only were the clamp springs no where near strong enough to hold with any reliability, but there was no way they were gripping and piercing into my wood. I'll keep them for very small/soft wood projects.

Use multiple layers of painters tape around miters or these will leave indents that look like nail marks, which defeats the purpose of proper miters.

This is a great product for making square corners, Very simple and easy to use. Clamps grip tight and you get 4 sets of clamps so you can make 4 frames at once, perfect.

For hard woods probably wont leave much of a mark but for soft woods it'll leave a dent in the 45degree miter outter edge on both sides. It's useful tho for glue ups and Bradley nailing a piece perfectly. Classic tool hard to use quick compared to a clamp
