This is just wonderful, tap coil, easy turn, it doesn't change the tone of your guitar. I have three guitars with this potentiometer and so far after 2 years no problems at all. Excellent quality, easy to install. You should get one of these in your guitar.

Works great, installed in a guitar for coil splitting a pickup.Smooth silent operation and switch works well.A pot is just a variable resistor so as long as it is quiet and smooth that's all that matters, resistance is resistance and the value is the only thing that effects tone, small pot or large makes no difference.Don't buy into the magic snake oil that a pot has to be a certain size to have good tone.

This potentiometer is good quality and robust. If you have other CTS pots in your guitar this will match perfectly in terms of size and the turn rotation. I would reccomend this potentiometers to anyone wanting to mod their guitar.

I love using these for coil taping on guitars. Throw and turn resistance feels soooo good. Little bigger than some pots so make sure you have the room before you start soldering!

I replaced a bourns 500k dpdt pot with this pot and I couldn’t be happier, Bourns pot was way to noisy and super low torque, this pot seems to be better built than bourns and the noise level is significantly less, the only gripe I had was my schecter knob was very snug on this pot compared to bourns

A little bulky, so not great for tight spaces but good quality and very close to the specified resistance rating.
