Thanks to covid I have not been able to install these yet. The packaging is fantastic leading me to believe that this level of care in the shipping has to translate to a high level of performance of the part.

Some people don’t like them, but i do a lot of mud and these made my inner seal last way longer, you just have to grease them before every muddy ride for a good protection.

What a waste of time.. make sure you test fit these first.. I installed these as per the instructions.. the instructions said should leave 1 -2 mm of clearance.. I went to put the axle in.. and there was contact.. I banged it in as far as it could go.. it was beginning to get marks on it i was tapping on it so hard.. still not enough clearance.. I had to pull them out.. what annoys me is that I cut my dust covers off to put these one.. now I have nothing protecting my outer axle tube.even if there was a bit of clearance.. once you get your bearing put on and rotors.. that 175 lb torque that your going to need to put on that outer axle nut 36mm.. its gonna close that space up.. and you'll get contact..That red area.. is much too thick.. should be 3/4 that size at least.. on a massive truck these could work.. not on my Jeep Wrangler JK 2009. I returned them.. still waiting on my refund.

Perfect fit, in a mechanic view it will keep my oil inside.

Decided to buy and install these axle tube seals when I decided to the ball joints on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler with a Dana 30 front axle. Since I would be pulling out the axle shafts installing these tube seals just made sense. The instructions note to use RTV Silicone to hold the seal in the axle tube so make sure you have some on hand. While I don't think axle tube seals are a must have, if you're going to be doing related work and will have your axle shafts out you might as well install these seals. They do keep the muck out, easy to install, grease able, and are at a cheap enough price point.

I purchased these for my 07 JK rubicon, I installed them per included instructions but even though there was some clearance between the axle and the seal it wasn't enough when turning while driving and both seals were damaged and had to be removed. This involved a lot of labor to Install and then remove. Obviously they do not fit my 07 rubicon as advertised. Waste of a lot of time and money.

these are great. keeps water out of the axle housing and keeps the oil inside. Mine was leaking on one side and stopped when I put these in so i didn't have to change the inner axle seals which is a PITA

If your like me I have only one vehicle and can't have a lot of down time, the Amazon site has a poor way of Identifying/guessing the correct part. But I went to the manufacture wed site, and was able to get the exact part, the description and SKU# for my vehicle. This SKU number matched up with the Amazon part I ordered. What is on my stock jeep is shocking! just some molded plastic on the axle shafts, I had sand in my tubes from when I was at the beach last time, 4 years ago!! I did come cleaning and then installed these seals. This installation was easy enough, the position of the grease fitting should be between 1-5 O'clock position 12 & 6 will not work for obvious reasons, but the 7-10 positions are doable, just a bit tight with the grease gun, the zerk fitting is sorta close to the cast knuckle assemble I wish I had know this before the "RTV" had setup, but this is liveable. I wish I had known about these axle seals before, time will tell how good they are..... or not. My order came a day early, I was finished a day early.

Worked great for the left side would not fit over the right side axle. Rather than send it back I cut a slit and separated it to make it wider pressed it over the axle shaft & than squeezed it back together. you have to take the seal out & then reinstall it after you press it on the axle and squeeze the housing back to the original size. Turn the slit to the top & install axle & tube seal together & it works well.

Amazon has these listed as compatible with 98 Cherokee (XJ). When I received them I thought they looked a little skinny and when I tried to install them I was right. These are way too skinny for 27 spline D30's (ie: every D30 that ever came in an XJ). I confirmed with the manufacturer that 11105 is for 30 spline axles. If you're looking for seals for the XJ, get 11102 (red) or 11103 (black).Incidentally, I checked the PN on several sites and everyone has it wrong. I'm returning mine now and ordering the 11103 and will report back if it's the correct PN.
