This is the third security doorbell I've tried. This one is worth keeping. However, people can and do walk all the way up my walkway and stairs to the front door, leave packages, and walk away - all without getting a notification! I've got zones set, tho I deleted the package zone because I get better notifications without it! I'm estimating it's about a 5% fail rate of not detecting people coming to my door. The sound quality is mixed - some sounds are quite garbled, but the microphone seems to be extremely sensitive - perhaps too sensitive, as it picks up conversations from people walking by (the sidewalk's about 30 feet from my front door). The video quality fluctuates between crystal clear and blurry for no apparent reason. The app is straightforward and easy to use.My only other feedback is generic to all such devices: I do wish they would all revert to allowing the customer to save their own data to a local SD card instead of forcing us to have a paid subscription and storing everything in the cloud - no matter what security measures are in place, it is a less-desirable arrangement for those of us who prefer local storage and don't otherwise use the cloud - especially for sensitive data like video of our homes.

The unit is battery model, needs to be charged more offen that I like.

I recently replaced an older model Ring Door Bell. This one is definitely a "cut above"! They have improved the quality and operation of the model a great deal. It's very easy to install. The sensitivity is excellent and offers very clear videos of what's going on in and around your porch The photographic resolution is very crisp and clear! I recommend this to all who may need one!

I love my Ring doorbell with its crystal clear video and picture. Easy to install and the notification sound it very pleasant and easy to hear.

Excellent product. A great addition to the security of our home. Had to be installed on brick, so was a bit more work than it would have been on wood, but it was worth it. Got the Bronze color which blended nicely with our brown brick. The chime offers fun choices for holidays that we had fun with. Glad we finally purchased them for all doors of our house

Been wanting to purchase a doorbell camera that is battery operated and could mount to the wall without needing to drill and this is the exact product for our home! I had to purchase the "no-drill" mount separately. We've been using this for a month now, and they're are no complaints. The mount is still holding on strongly even though we've had a couple of pretty bad rainstorms. The battery life was a bit of a concern, but we haven't charged this since the first charge when we bought this. The video quality is great for our needs and I haven't noticed any lag time. It comes with the free trail for one of the Ring plans and so far it's been great at detecting packages and people. I would definitely recommend, not only for the added security but for the convenience of not being any extra tools or persons to have it up and operational.

Install and setup were pretty easy. The image is a lot sharper than i expected and I get sound in the clips, so that’s awesome! I can see who is on my porch while i’m away and make sure my packages are safe. Plus there is the neighbors feature so we can keep each other informed of things happening close by. I’m very happy with my purchase.
