I own a small Architectural firm that uses great quantities of plotter paper. Previously I have been purchasing coated bond paper, to make my prints look like old fashioned blueprints (blue on white). The coated paper has become so expensive, I decided to try a thicker bond paper, that accepts color ink. A contractor friend of mine dropped off a box of Alliance wide format paper that he ordered in the wrong size. I used it, and it is of the same quality as the coated paper, but for 1/3 the price. I will be purchasing this paper from now on. Thank you Alliance!

Needed 24' roll paper for my new Epson SC-T3170M wide-format printer/scanner. Upon unpacking, the paper appeared to be of good quality and the rolls were clean, bright and uniform. I removed the packing plugs in the ends of the roll and the roll fit securely onto the spindle in the printer. A quick twist to feed the paper into the system and I was up and running.I ran a half dozen D-size test prints of varying types of drawings and the output was crisp and clean with no bleed or smudges on the paper. This is good quality paper for everyday use, especially for daily check prints and working drawings. Very satisfied.

First and foremost: This is not a thick, premium paper. It is a good, quality CAD paper. I use it for drafts on posters, stickers, and other designs. It does its job perfectly for a lower price. The only real downside is that it soaks up ink and can take a bit to dry if you're doing color heavy prints, but that's on me. This is CAD paper. It is meant for schematics and plans, not patterns and heavy images.I still recommend it for use as a good draft material and I would easily recommend it to someone using it for its intended purpose.

I also gave it a 5 star rating mostly for the same reasons as others. This is 20 lb. paper, it's a utility grade for line drawings, it is not meant for high density printing (large filled areas). They do tell you it's for technical drawings in the product pics, it's not for pretty pictures, anyone with experience should know that. On that basis it is excellent quality. It lays flatter than heavier papers such as 24 lb. Because of that it's better for handling especially when you get to the end of the roll, much less curling. I have used 24 lb. until now and noticed right away the handling was better with the 20 lb.I think the seller could make the description a bit clearer to avoid confusion. They meander too much with info about other grades of paper they sell. One small issue, the rolls I got had 8 pieces of tape to secure the paper. That's way overkill, 2 should do it. It took me 5 minutes to remove the tapes, and it did damage one small spot, but not enough to complain.I don't use the one inch adapters and would like to see an option to not include them, to avoid sending out more garbage. I have bought rolls direct from a big paper mill that don't include the adapters. The price is a bit high for 20 lb. but with the pandemic on it's preferable to have it delivered. Our usual supplier would cost us a lot more to include delivery, if they will even do that. As a Prime member it's free shipping. For the right purpose you can't go wrong with this paper.

If you do not need special paper, this is perfect for everyday use. I print architectural plans on it so I do not need fancy paper. Colour is a nice bright white and has a decent weight to the paper. Lines and graphics come out crisp and images look good also. Highly recommended!
