PAN
My Take

This pan feels very cheap and not of the quality I expected from AC. It was much lighter than the old drying pan from AC this was supposed to replace. I returned it before using.

We have only All Clad cookware! Their decision to also make non stick was a good one. I like the fact that you can also buy lids (not for the 8 inch, though) for the larger non stick frying pans. While always pricey, you will never have to replace them over a lifetime.

Pan is fantastic. The handle though is a little rough when cooking a lot and the pan gets heavy. The handle becomes uncomfortable to hold. No heat transference issues just uncomfortable to the point where is can dig into your palm if the pan is full.

I want a fry pan that does two things; works well and cleans easily. This pan does both. The pan is used almost daily in our house for breakfast and dinner yet is easy to clean and dry getting ready for the next meal.Thisnis the second All Clad fry pan we have purchased, the exact same pan actually, and to that that means the efforts mentioned, use and cleaning, are easily attained. Yes, if a third is needed, this will bne the choice.

This pan is shockingly good.1) this is the best browning I've ever seen from a nonstick pan. I will never take out my cast iron or carbon steel anymore because the browning is just so good on this guy. And it's still quite nonstick so that part doesn't suffer.2) this is the best heat dispersion I've seen in an induction pan. My induction burner is a ring, with cold edges and a cold middle. If I use a thin carbon steel pan it's unusable - the ring burns before the center and edges cook. This pan is way better. There is no noticeable cold spot in the middle, and the colder edges are similar to any other pan on gas or electric. However, I think the handle shape sucks. I find it painful to hold, and I wish they made it a normal shape and gave you a removable soft silicone wrap for it like tramontina. But the goods definitely outweigh the bads (at the price I paid which Amazon won't let me tell you, but it was about double a tramontina nonstick not induction compatible and about half of the MadeIn nonstick)

I have had all clad for years. When the company brought out the nonstick pans I jumped on buying then. I now use the 10 in pan for everything. The cooking is perfect and it never sticks.

This review is for the 12" but I also have the 10" and 8". I use one or other of these every day. These pans are my non-stick alternatives to my cast irons which I also love. They are almost as heavy as cast iron and conduct heat very well. I'm very impressed with them and they show signs that they will last a long time - I previously used a well-known brand of aluminum pans but had to replace them every few years. I only marked scratch resistance with four stars because any non-stick pan is going to be a bit delicate (of course I never use metal utensils) and so far there are no marks. The only (slight) downside is that the handles are a little uncomfortable - they're concave on top. Combined with the weight of the 12" some folk may want to use a mitt when lifting them when full.
