Must have! Brightness any dark space while backing up. Tested 7440's on 2008 Honda CRV. Tested 921's on 2016 Mazda CX3 & 2013 Toyota RAV4.

I've had these for a year now. They are super bright and I'll definitely be buying again if they ever go out. They are like headlights backing up.

I put a set of these in my ‘97 4Runner a while back and now added them to my 2016 Chevy Volt.They are WAY brighter than stock. A little pricey but seems worth it. Makes backing up easier to see with or without a rear camera.They are a tight fit behind the 4Runner taillight but work fine.Lots of room behind the Volt tail light but for some reason the Volt keeps them very dimly lit when the car is on and then still for a while after you turn the car off. Eventually the car fully turns everything off and they go out, so they’re not draining forever. Just something to be aware of.

WOWEE! Exceeded my luminous expectations and cannot recommend these highly enough. Pay the little extra for these over just regular LED's and you'll be rewarded with enlightenment. Here's kind of a funny aside...One morning (4:45 am) my neighbor was on my front porch as I was leaving for work. It seems that my headlights shine directly in his bedroom window, awakening him prematurely. I completely understood the predicament so I now keep my e-brake on to keep the daytime running lamps off and don't switch on my headlights until I'm in the lane of travel on my street. Inconvenient? Yes. Considerate? Big time. (I hope Karma is watching.) I'm betting that as bright as these bulbs are that if I backed out of my driveway, he would probably return. No kidding, they're that bright.

These were my third attempt at finding a good LED backup bulb for my 2019 F150 XLT. I tried a few other "amazon specials". All junk. Poor design, poor light output, poorly fitting sockets. I went to HeadlightRevolution to data mine because those guys DO actually know what theyre doing. BUT theyre WAAAAY overpriced IMO. If you look there you will find, as I did, that these are the exact same backup bulbs theyre sellin, but at half the price! SUPER bright! Reasonably priced. Install took 10 mins beginning to end. Flawless.

Nice and bright, no canbus errors, I reused the blue gaskets to attempt to provide a moisture seal, too floppy without it. As others have mentioned the heat sinks can cut yours hands so wear gloves, as I had to press hard to mount the bulbs in the fixtures. I also appreciated the suggestion to use electrical tape to secure the pigtail connection, thanks for that. i will see how secure the mount is given that the factory part is hard plastic and these bulbs use rubber/some type of foam?

Its much brighter than stock but i was expecting a bit more. They wont replace a set of backup aux light. If you want to retain factory look those are the way to go. Installation was straightforward.

Wow! Really bright and easy to install. Just hope they last anywhere near as long as the regular ones.The only drawback I saw is that they tend to rotate since the rubber grommet does not seat very tight on the housing. It shouldn't be a big deal but since part of the light comes from two LEDs on the side, these should be aligned with the parabolic reflector in rectangular lamps.Update:So now I know why the warranty is for 2 years.... one of mine just went dark. So fair warning, don't expect a long life out of these things.Update on second pair.After my first set died I bought a second pair. Unfortunately one of them has died 4 months after installing. Just put a claim through Alla Lighting's site (never heard back). I finally was able to commucate with someone via the Amazon messages.
