This works fairly well as long as you don't break rocks bigger than two or three inches thick, or five or six inches in diameter. The head of the hammer wears down quickly. If you're serious about breaking rocks of any size bigger than the above dimensions, spend the $$$$ and get one that is built to last.

The handle is more comfortable when using as a hammer. It would be better for me if the handle was reversed because I mostly use the pick side. Durable but not as much as my 1960’s made in the USA one.

Shortly after using it the handle grip started sliding off needs some glue on it
