I refuse to use chemical laden conditioners anymore, we have enough chemical contact to our bodies and it is good to choose nontoxic things where we can. This is one of those great choices. This is a high quality leather conditioner, old fashioned top ingredient choices. It works very well, especially if you warm it a bit before using it, or scrape some off and place it near something warm in the kitchen or near a heat source before using. If you scrape some off into a small bowl you can then wash the bowl with your regular dishes and not worry about contamination as it is all natural and nontoxic. It is so safe, you can use your hands to spread it!It is what our ancestors would have used, and I am finding that what they used is nearly always better than our cheap chemical substitutes.Highly recommended.

Its not the first time oils go rancid. Not saying it was anyone's fault in particular but I definately returned them because it made my gloves get sticky and they did not seem an iota less dull.

Used this leather balm on my shoes, and it worked great! They look almost new now. Easy to apply and not greasy after it dries.

I am a fan of the whole amallow brand, however they really hit it out of the park with this one. Applies great to my leather boots and works well with my book binding hobby. It’s nice using a product that you know is not a bunch of random chemicals. The portion they give is also very generous. Highly recommend 👍

I used it to polish my motorcycle boots since obviously being exposed to the road and weather while riding in different types really does a number on how dirty your leather gets. After using this it cleaned my boots fairly well and puts on a protectant so I don't have to clean them as often and conditioned the leather. I really like it, a little goes a long way.

I recently tried this leather conditioner, and I’m impressed! It moisturizes leather, especially in worn areas. I applied it to some high-quality boots, and it worked wonders, making them look brand new again.Applying the conditioner is straightforward, using a cotton cloth is recommended to achieve the best results. It’s similar to using canned shoe polish but much less messy. The conditioner spreads effortlessly once on the cloth, almost as if it were in oil form, rather than the waxy form found in the tin.A small amount goes a long way, so the tin should last me quite some time. I also appreciate that it’s made with all-natural ingredients. It leaves a rich finish without any unpleasant residue.Overall, this leather conditioner is an affordable and highly effective product. I would definitely get it again!

These natural ingredients are the historical leather treatments that have stood the test of time for their power to preserve and soften leather goods. Tallow (rendered beef fat) and beeswax are both solid at room temperature and they provide a lot of waterproofing and surface protection, allowing you to buff up a nice shine on boots and saddles, etc. Mink oil and almond oil, meanwhile, soak in to condition deeper in the leather, so it stays soft and flexible, which keeps it strong by preventing cracks and tears. Since all of these ingredients are not only natural but even edible, it's absolutely safe to apply this treatment to leather goods that will be in contact with skin (including necklaces, horse tack, shoes, etc). This tin of leather conditioner is pocket sized, good for taking along to shows and events in a small care-kit for leather goods on site. It's easy to use, even by hand (honestly, this stuff is good for human skin as well, so you don't need a rag for applying it to leather items; you can just swipe it out with a finger and rub it in by hand). The label is calm and professional looking, and the company (in the USA) provides their name and email for contact/questions.Note that some leathers react to ingredients like mink oil by getting darker in color, so you do want to follow the instructions on this product by testing a small, discrete patch of your leather goods where it won't be visible, if darkening would be a concern for the item in question. Don't blame the product if you skip this step! Most natural leather conditioners will result in darker leather. This one is no exception.

I have a pair of leather boots that I plan on wearing for a long time and this balm is so quick and easy to make sure they stay hydrated and water resistant. I take an old cloth and work it into the leather and leave it in the sun or a warm place for a few hours to soak in. This has worked very well. Worth it to keep your items nice.
