I am a dental hygienist. I ove the simplicity of this light. After reading reviews about battery life, I ordered 2 of them so I can switch out mid day, but have not used them yet. They came with a nice cases, are very bright, and easily clip onto my loupes. However, the field of view for both of them is crooked. I am a dental hygienist and a coworker recommended them to me. They said theirs came crooked too, but they don't notice it while working. We will see if I end up keeping them or if that crooked light drives me crazy. 4 starts for now.

The first light I bought broke as soon as I pushed to open the arms. I returned it and had a replacement sent, thinking it was just a fluke. Well, after one month of use, the second one has broken in the same spot. And I’m a week past the return window. Very frustrating. Don’t waste your time on this light.

I am a hygienist. The light is great but the light doesn’t last all day. By 4:00 it starts to dim.

It’s ok for the money, has to charge after about 4 hours and seems to be getting dull lately. Only about a year old. I’m only using it’s about 3.5 days per week. Wish it had a little longer life, but we shall see.

I’m a Dental Hygienist and I use to about 8-9hrs a day about 30-40 mins at a time. I find the battery dies around 12 and I’ll leave it charging for about an hour and it won’t be full powered and dies within the half hour. Charging it overnight is my best bet. The light is kind of small so it depends what you’re using it for and how long. For my profession it’s not the best but maybe useful for other applications that need less time.

I have been using this product in dental school, and it has served me well thus far. Our labs take up the afternoon, and I have found that the battery life does not last very long and takes a while to charge. When the battery is low, the lights become dimmer. Personally, this is fine because I only use it for a few hours at a time at most. However, I can imagine this being an issue in the future when I need to use this light for a longer time. I have two batteries just in case.

I'm a dentist. I normally don't write reviews - especially this long, but I have extensive experience with LED headlights (I used to build my own) and am so happy with this product that I felt like I needed to. I hate spending a ton for hardware that I know costs much less than what "professional" companies charge. I was going to build my own again but time is money so I thought I would give this a try. I am really impressed. For the price these are almost disposable. Build quality is really good. I see potential cord failures and I ended up gluing on the orange filter because it wasn't super snug. The battery is smaller which I don't mind - I just keep it plugged in between patients and so far no issues. I removed some of the swivel arms to make it stick out less from the new awesome faceshields that we are wearing now (cough cough). Brightness? Perfect for me. It probably isn't as ridiculously bright the super expensive headlights but who needs a nuclear eye blinding light anyways... it is still VERY BRIGHT and does a perfect job removing shadows and a great compliment to my overhead light. I could probably use it without my overhead light as well. But having multiple light sources from different angles is beneficial for me. The light has a great color temperature - very white and clean with now haze on sides. Creates a great size spot for our working distance - not as small as some others but definitely not too big where it would get in patients' eyes. The light is adjustable but I find the brightest setting is necessary to do what I want it to. I will probably add an in-line on off switch so I don't have to turn it on and all the way up every time.
