I ordered this supposed upgraded mist maker (without LEDs) and it works fine for my small Halloween prop. The one I received does not have any LEDs, so there's no added color or extra heat. Setup is easy with these since it is just mostly maintaining the water level and routing the cable that takes longer to setup.This is an upgraded version of a previous one I had ordered. It just seems to be a little bulkier with the cover, but works just the same and generates a similar amount of mist. The cover does seem like it lets the mist flow better and prevents more of the splashing, but I don't sit and measure the drops. It works and looks neat with the mist.Just like with any of these mist makers, the proper water level needs to be maintained. There are different ways to do this. It ensures that the device works as best it can and makes as much mist as it can. Since it is water mist, wherever it flows, it will get wet.It works great for smaller water props or features. Since I'll only be using it for a few days out of the year, it will probably last quite a long time. I'll be using a few of these for my Halloween props this next season. For the price, this upgraded mist maker is a decent value. I'd recommend this for smaller props or fountains.

I did not expect this to last. I rent to abuse things like this so I fully expected it to die. It has not. In fact, three have not. I keep one going at all times around my plants and it’s happily making a great mist for them. I use the others for mushroom operations and they also function as expected.I hate the little lid to keep it from sputtering everywhere. The legs never stay in and that miffs me. Minor considering that it’s nigh near indestructible.

I've bought 3 of them and they work great. They're in my fogponic propagator, rooting some fruit trees I'm trying to clone. They're doing a wonderful job for what I'm using them for, especially since I added the air pump to keep the water oxygen rich. I've got 12 Pakistan Mulberry trees that are almost ready to pot up, after getting this fog to help with root growth. I'll probably end buying more.

no matter what type of bowl/container you put this in, it will get water all over surrounding surface. it would have to be 10 inches tall or more which makes any mist from spreading out almost nonexistent.useless junk, I threw it away.

I had previously ordered one that did not float and what a pain it was keep checking the water level. This one was great. Floated around the cauldron and only had to check the water level once throughout the party
