Perfect fit. I had replaced the cartridge but that was not the problem, it was the pressure balancer. When installing I didn't do it right at first. I was worried about it being too tight, but I found I had to tighten it such that it "bottoms out" and the cap is flush against the housing. At first I was concerned about over tightening, but if you leave even a little gap the o-ring will escape under pressure. If that happens best to turn off the water again, remove, the part, reseat the o-ring, and do it again because if you try to tighten it after the o-ring "escapes" you will pinch the o-ring. Now about 24-hours and no drips, I kept the outer cover off so I could verify. Based on things I read I put a little silicone grease on each o-ring to try to make them last longer.

The replacement valve, even though fully tightened, did not seat100% causing the the o-ring to slip through the gap when under pressure. As a result it leaked between the walls and completely flooded the lower level causing $19,000.00 in damages. Warning!, before you buy anything from Amazon check the third party and liability.

Use to fix ceased spooling assembly in an old delta bath/shower control. Needed to create an removal tool using a 5/8" bolt. Replacement fits well and the shower operate right away after.
