I had a set of two of these already, and I cracked the glass in one after dropping it on the terrace. Was so mad! I found this as a replacement. Nit exactly the same as the original, but close enough. I ùse this a salt & pepper shakers for cooking or grilling. The holes are nice and open and mashes for easy access when I need to add a few disks to my recipes

I got this product because the salt I use change the holes. It came out too fast so I needed to find something that would help me. This shaker gave Me me the ability to use how much or how little I wanted to use. I would recommend this Product

We were looking for something that looks nice and could hold enough that you weren’t filling them up all the time. They are rugged enough that I can use them on my BBQ.

I liked it at first. Unfortunately after a couple days of use I have found an issue that has me regretting having thrown away the packaging prematurely. The lid is loose (has a gap) in between the lid and size or closed selector. The result with that is salt falling out from the edges and the salt collecting a fair amount of condensation from the room even w some rice granules mixed in. The need to bang the salt loose and granules spilling out has this one on its way to the trash can..

Probably works fine with salt as advertised, but I tried to use it for my protein rub which has some finer ground ingregients (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika). These finer grinds leak out even when the shaker is "closed". I had to switch it for use with something else. The issue seems to be that there is a gap between the top piece with the holes in it and the inner lid. Spinning it to "close" all hole patterns leaves plenty of room for finer powder to come through.

I wanted this on my dining table, but I'm giving up on it. It leaks salt all over the table every time I use it. Time to toss it. Sadly. (I really like the look and the design and the many size of holes... so I would love this product -- except that I can't use it.) -- UPDATE: I've put tape neatly around the leaky joint in the top. I won't be able to switch the size of the holes I'm using (w/o removing the tape), but I'm now happy. I've done it neatly, so the tape isn't noticable. Now I'm back to really liking it!

My previous salt shaker broke suddenly after yrs of use- different brand entirely. I began my search for the same style & was happy to locate it @ Amazon.com. This new one is an inch of so shorter than the previous but this is not a concern for me; I use very little salt. It's the closure cover that is my priority- moisture in salt = clumping, open holes = unwanted particles in the salt. I like the buffed stainless steel, the diameter, the price & ease of delivery.

Als Salzstreuer von mir bestellt, aber nicht zu verwenden. Es werden Erinnerungen wach an die Anfangszeiten von Made in China. Das Salz kommt unkontrolliert aus dem ganzen Verschlussbereich, so das der komplette Untergrund (Tisch) eingesalzen wird. Trotz des hohen Preises für einen Salzstreuer ist das bestenfalls Edelschrott.

Es un salero con un buen diseño y resistente, para uso en la cocina más que en la mesa. Funciona para sal gruesa, pues los orificios son grandes.
