I am not a performer, so I just use this to play at home. The key action is a little on the stiff side, like some of the old pianos I've played. It's fun trying out the different voices. The down side is the documentation. I've owned this for over a year, and I have yet to figure out the metronome. Furthermore, there is no reference material for the percussion sounds. If I ever decide to record something, and overdub my own rhythm track, then I will need to sit down, and make a chart to identify which key produces which whistle, bang, chime, thunk, or other noise it can make. The end result, is for a reasonable price, I purchases a full 88 key keyboard with pedals, which I can use to entertain myself.

As others have said this stand is overpriced. Having said that it does its job well and is quite robust. On arrival the pedals were mounted the wrong way round. As I wanted to extend the wiring I had to take the pedals off the cross-bar anyway. The wiring was extended easily so that it could be routed along the bar and up the rear of the left leg. This was to avoid the unsightly cable dangling down from the middle of the keyboard to the pedals. After assembly I liked the look and feel of the keyboard/stand and it took up less room than the X-frame stand I had before. Overall it compliments the keyboard. I just wish it was slightly less expensive.

Just put together and screwed the piano on. LOVE the way it looks and nice to have secure piano pedals underneath that are secure and work well. Seems very stable. Like that it was specifically designed for use with the CODA and CODA Pro. Very nice that it includes three pedals with the stand. See photos of my setup. My intent is to only use in the home, so I prefer this more permanent stand rather then a fold up gig stand. Got for a great price on Amazon which made the whole setup a sweet deal.Kudos to Alesis for bringing a very competitive product to market!

I ordered the stand recommended for the Alesis Coda Plus however there is no PORT for the 3 pedals. Very unhappy as I put everything together just to find out it does not work. What are you going to do as taking apart and sending back is a major pain!

Perfect. I put furniture gliders under the legs and it slides easily over my carpeted floor. Super easy to assemble, took me about 10 minutes. One very important caveat: if you have any cables plugged into the back, do not push the keyboard all the way against a wall or you can snap the cords off. And as others have said, the port for the three pedals is underneath the keyboard, not in the back.

Beautiful stand. Worth every cent. Sides are 1 n 1/4 inch thick. Pedals work perfect. Took just 10 min to put together It plugs right under the bottom of the piano. Plus the pedals have a good feel to them. Well made firm feel.. Very happy with this purchase.

I would give this 5 stars but there are a couple of frustrating issues that the manufacturer should address if they want 5 stars. First, the hardware was tossed loose into the box as if it were an afterthought. There was a screw sitting on top of the wood (paperboard, really) with no padding between the wood and the screw and the top of the box. Luckily, there was no damage. I had to dig around for most of the other hardware. About half was in the ziplock bag where it belonged. The box had certainly not been opened or returned because all of the foam padding and wrap was where it was supposed to be and it tears very easily so, had it been opened before, that wrap would have been torn up.The other problem is the plug for the footpedals. I purchased this to get the three foot pedals yet when I put it all together I couldn't find any connector on the keyboard for the pedals. The single pedal that came with the Coda Pro keyboard has a 1/4-inch phono plug and the keyboard has a place on the back for that. I read the instructions carefully and thoroughly for both the keyboard and for the stand and there's no mention of the appropriate jack - which, by the way, is underneath the keyboard, near the back, centered along the bottom back. I only found out about it when I checked one more time before submitting a request to return the keyboard. The instructions for connecting it properly should be in both manuals since the jack is on the piano and the plug on the stand. The second reason I was going to return it was missing hardware. With much of the hardware simply thrown in the box, when I didn't find the four rotating nuts, I was sure they were lost. I finally found them already inserted into the bottom cross brace where they go. I had tried to inventory the parts before starting as is my practice. Once again, the documentation should have pointed out that the nuts were installed or not install them.Oh, it should have another cross brace along the top back. Any sideways pressure on this and it would collapse easily. A second brace across the top back would make it much more solid. So, what's good about it? Well, it truly was easy to assemble. It holds the keyboard securely. I don't hear the clicking that others complained about in the stand or in the foot pedals. Once properly assembled, it is a nice setup for the money. So, I took away one star for the frustration of figuring it all out.

Fours Stars due solely to poor instructions supplied. When assembled (which is very simple) it looks really good. The Issue is that the instructions say four bolts and four barrel nuts supplied and how to use them. What they don't do is tell you the barrel nuts are already installed in the pedal section. I went through the hassle of returning one item only to find the barrel nuts "missing" from replacement. You only realise they are already fitted when the bolt bites into the slot. I really like the item and had the word "(fitted)" been inserted in the instructions I would have been a happy bunny

The connector at the end of the cord for the pedals does not fit into any of the receptacles on the keyboard. I took a picture of the connector at the end of the cord and the receptacles on the keyboard and took it to Radio Shack, but they didn't have any adapters or other suggestions. The keyboard itself comes with a sustain pedal, so we are using that until we can find a way to connect the pedals on the stand and make them work. Other than that, the stand is professional-looking, sturdy, and easy to assemble. I returned the stand with the complaint about the cord, but they sent another with the same issue.
